DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/16/21)

We've reached our third week of Tuesday and Wednesday MACtion this year. It has been as crazy as advertised so far. Akron is actually hanging with teams. Bowling Green got a MAC win. The Redhawks have lost to MAC games by a combined three points. We still have a couple more weeks of this madness, so let's enjoy it!

We start off Tuesday MACtion with Toledo heading down to Athens to take on the enigmatic Bobcats. Western Michigan heads east to Ypsilanti for one of those delightful directional rivalries. We finish it off with the Redhawks hosting Bowling Green. This one is going to be a blast!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/16/21 locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

CFB Betting Picks 11/16:

Toledo(-6.5) at Ohio

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 4

I know what Toledo is capable of. They showed it last week. The last time I thought Toledo was hitting their stride, they lost outright to Colorado State. I like the fact that I'm getting a free half though. I don't really trust the Toledo defense, but the combination of Dequan Finn and Bryant Koback on offense is intoxicating. Give me the Rockets.

Western Michigan(-5.5) at Eastern Michigan

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

I was hoping this line would stay over a touchdown so I could feel good about taking the Eagles at home. Now I really have to think about it. Western is and has been the better, more consistent team. Eastern Michigan's passing game could be a problem for the Broncos, especially when you consider that Akron threw for 307 on them last week. Still, I'm not sure the Eagles can stop the run enough to win this. I'll take the Broncos.

Bowling Green at Miami(OH)(-16.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 1

Yuck. I never know what to expect from the Falcons, especially on the road, so this is definitely getting the minimum bet. That's the easy part. The Redhawks dismantled Buffalo last week and this is the last home game. Give me Miami.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Brett Gabbert, Miami-Ohio ($9,000)

We all saw what Dequan Finn did to Bowling Green last week, right? Gabbert is probably a more technical passer and close to as good of a runner as Finn is. The Falcons are going to have issues trying to stop Gabbert as well. The difference is that Toledo has more weapons around Finn than Miami does around Gabbert. There is a very high ceiling here since Gabbert pretty much carries this offense.

Ben Bryant, Eastern Michigan ($6,800)

Bryant has topped 300 passing yards in three of the last four games, throwing six touchdowns and two interceptions during that time. He may not be as efficient as we want, but Bryant has thrown 98 passes in the last two games. The volume is there so long as the game stays close or the Eagles trail. That's likely to happen tonight. I like the potential of Bryant with the price still this low.

Also consider: Dequan Finn ($8,200); Kurtis Rourke, Ohio ($6,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Sean Tyler, Western Michigan ($7,700)

The Eagles have struggled against the run for much of the year. The Broncos have the backs to control this game on the ground and will likely try to do so. I don't like this tag on Tyler when there are two other backs taking carries, but Tyler's potential wins out here. He scored twice last week against Akron and picked up his second 100+ yard game of the season. There's a strong chance that he'll log another here.

Terion Stewart, Bowling Green ($4,900)

The Falcons are often forced to abandon the run because they get so far behind. That will likely happen again. However, Stewart has scored four touchdowns in the last three games. He has carved out a larger role in Bowling Green's backfield and often scores the first points of the game for Bowling Green. If we get around 50 yards and a touchdown out of him at this price, I can live with that.

La'Darius Jefferson, Western Michigan ($4,500)

Jefferson has only been under ten carries once this year (nine against Toledo), so he has a clear role in this backfield. Tyler gets more snaps because he's the better receiver, but both backs are going to be leaned on heavily here like they were last week against Akron. Both Tyler and Jefferson are strong plays. After all, Jefferson does have ten touchdowns in ten games this year.

Also consider: Bryant Koback, Toledo ($8,200); De'Montre Tuggle, Ohio ($6,700); Samson Evans, Eastern Michigan ($5,900); Keyon Mozee, Miami-Ohio ($4,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Jack Sorenson, Miami-Ohio ($9,200)

Sorenson continues to put up massive numbers for the Redhawks. He has 39 receptions for 769 yards and four touchdowns in the last five games alone. You're likely only getting about three quarters worth of Sorenson here, but he can still do a lot of damage in that time frame. He's good for 100 yards and a touchdown. That's a nice floor.

Hassan Beydoun, Eastern Michigan ($6,200)

Tanner Knue led the Eagles in receptions last week in just his second game back. Beydoun appears to be a bit behind in the pecking order, but he still hauled in nine passes for 85 yards last week. Beydoun's track record this season is a little more proven than that of Knue. I prefer Beydoun in cash games, though I can see paying the extra $700 in GPP formats. There seems to be enough passes for everyone, so I'm not all that concerned with another mouth to feed. Bryant has thrown more than 40 passes in three of the last four games.

Isiah Cox, Ohio ($5,500)

My fears of using Cox are subsiding. Armani Rogers is still seeing a few snaps per game, but Roarke's superior passing skills have him as the top quarterback and he's not relinquishing the job anytime soon. Cox has 55.2 DraftKings points in the last two games, so he is clearly Rourke's favorite target. The Bobcats are paying well in this span too, so they are likely to keep going as they are right now offensively. That's great for both Rourke and Cox.

Mac Hippenhammer, Miami-Ohio ($5,100)

Hippenhammer has three touchdowns in the last two games and has double-digit DraftKings points in five of the last six games. The Redhawks are throwing the ball more with Gabbert back to full strength. Hippenhammer is still the most consistent of the receivers behind Sorenson. There may be higher floors if you're willing to take a chance on other Redhawks receivers, but I'm leaning Mac, especially in cash lineups.

Also consider: Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan ($6,900); Skyy Moore, Western Michigan ($6,500); Dylan Drummond, Eastern Michigan ($5,700); Jaylen Hall, Western Michigan ($4,700)
