Most of the action is during the main slate on the final big college football Saturday of the season. We have 13 games that DraftKings set aside for us, and there are some great ones on here. We start off big with Ohio State and Michigan in the Big House. We have Georgia and Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Florida State is in Gainesville. Wake heading up Chestnut Hill is a decent undercard. So is Texas Tech making the trek to Waco. We have Maryland in Piscataway, a game that only matters for DFS.
Don't worry. The afternoon action is at least as good. We have Northwestern heading south to Champaign. Penn State heads to East Lansing. We have Indiana in West Lafayette for the Battle of the Oaken Bucket. Virginia Tech heads to Charlottesville. The real draws are the Iron Bowl in Auburn and the not-so-Civil War in Eugene. We close this slate off with the Battle for Paul Bunyan's axe in Minneapolis. There may be more heated rivalries, but this is the most played rivalry with Wisconsin and Minnesota meeting for the 131st time. This is going to be a great one!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/27/21 locking at noon eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks
Brennan Armstrong, Virginia ($9,800)
What more is there to say about Armstrong? He has 4,044 passing yards and 30 touchdowns in ten games. That doesn't count the seven rushing touchdowns. He is a DFS dream and the Virginia defense hands out points like the class president hopeful hands out flyers in the hallway. Virginia is always playing from behind or close to it. The fact that their run offense has been average at its best further fuels the massive season for Armstrong. The Virginia Tech defense isn't any better. There should be a lot of points and a lot of yards, which is right in Armstrong's wheelhouse.
Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland ($6,600)
Taulia's numbers on the season are good, but he has had some really nice games since his disaster in Minneapolis back in Week 8. Taulia has racked up 1,018 yards passing and six touchdowns (along with one rushing touchdown) in the last four games against Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Indiana. Those are some good teams to be putting up numbers like that against. I'm a big fan of Taulia against a porous Rutgers defense, especially since Maryland has struggled to run the ball all season long.
Aiden O'Connell, Purdue ($6,500)
O'Connell has racked up at least 30 DraftKings points in three straight games against Ohio State, Michigan State, and Northwestern. Before you go thinking that Northwestern padded those stats, they didn't. His 31.22 DraftKings points against the Wildcats was his lowest mark in those three games. There is a lot of potential at a low price for O'Connell here.
Brandon Peters, Illinois ($5,300)
This pick isn't really based on anything that Peters has done. It's more based on just how bad the Northwestern defense has been. Considering that Peters threw for a solid 248 yards on a decent Iowa defense, I'm more willing to overlook the two interceptions and the 44.4% completion percentage. This is Northwestern we're talking about. There is points to be had on this defense, but anything concerning Illinois this year has been a huge gamble. I'd leave Peters for large field GPP's only.
Also consider: Bryce Young, Alabama ($9,700); Phil Jurkovec, Boston College ($7,800); Jordan Travis, Florida State ($6,900); Cade McNamara, Michigan ($5,900)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs
Abram Smith, Baylor ($7,200)
Smith had a rough game against Kansas State last week, but the Wildcats' run defense has been pretty good all season long. Smith had four straight games over 100 rushing yards before the K-State game. Texas Tech has been gouged a few times on the road. Gerry Bohanon left Baylor's game last week and we could see the Bears take it easy with him just in case they get into the Big 12(10) Championship game if he is even able to play. I think Baylor at least needs the threat of Bohanon on the field for Smith to have a productive game, so keep an eye on this situation. If Bohanon is out, I'll go elsewhere.
B.J. Baylor, Oregon State ($7,100)
The Beavers hope here in the Civil War is to trample the Ducks with Baylor. He has proven that he can handle 20+ carries per game. After seeing what the Utah backs (and the Arizona backs about a month ago) did to the Oregon defense, this is the Beavers' path to the win. It wont be easy, but Oregon's defensive numbers have been aided by facing some teams that don't run well. Baylor and the Beavers do.
Pat Garwo III, Boston College ($6,100)
The Deacons just allowed 333 rushing yards to Clemson, so there's a lot of potential for the Boston College backs here. That is the fourth time that the Deacons have given up more than 300 rushing yards in a game. I really like Garwo at this price. Boston College has no issues running the ball, especially if they are having success doing so.
Chase Brown, Illinois ($5,800)
The Northwestern defense is still struggling and Brown is the only consistent piece of the Illinois offense. We have seen him log over 30 carries a few times this year when the game script calls for it. That's how Illinois beat Penn State and Minnesota. If Illinois gets a lead, no matter how small, Brown could be in for a monster game at this price range.
Zander Horvath, Purdue ($3,500)
King Doerue is still the starter, but Horvath has been stealing a few carries each week. He's had more success than Doerue for the most part and it much cheaper. This bruised and battered Indiana defense might not be much of a match for the Boilermakers here. Which should mean a decent amount of carries for both backs. If Horvath gets ten touches at this price, I'm happy with the potential.
Also consider: Braelon Allen, Wisconsin ($8,700); Travis Dye, Oregon ($7,600); Tank Bigsby, Auburn ($6,400); Evan Hull, Northwestern ($5,500); Christian Turner, Wake Forest ($3,900)
DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers
Jameson Williams, Alabama ($8,600)
Williams has at least 120 receiving yards in four straight games and five of the last six. The media has already coronated C.J. Stroud as the Heisman winner, but there's still two weeks of football left. I don't think Bryce Young is out of it yet, so if he goes nuts on Auburn, then what? This race is closer than you've been led to believe and there is a big game against Auburn waiting for Young, and by default, Williams.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State ($7,700)
How in the world do you cover all three Ohio State receivers? Georgia is about the only team I've seen that might be able to do it. Smith-Njigba has 34 receptions for 484 yards and three touchdowns in the last three games alone. All three Ohio State receivers could have good games, but right now it seems like Stoud and Smith-Njigba are the ones that are really clicking.
David Bell, Purdue ($7,300)
O'Connell might be the best quarterback per dollar on this entire slate. Bell is a big reason why. He has 34 receptions for 421 yards and a touchdown over the last three games. The lack of touchdowns is the only reason that Bell's numbers aren't among the elite. Chasing touchdowns can be fickle, but so can discounting because of the lack of touchdowns. The volume is there. The touchdowns should come. Or if you don't want to wait around, Milton Wright has 73.1 DraftKings points in the last two games alone because he's scored four touchdowns in that span.
Stephone Robinson, Northwestern ($4,700)
The Kansas transfer has been pretty good when he can stay on the field......and when he has a quarterback that can get him the ball. The Wildcats still don't have a signal caller they can truly rely on, but Robinson still has at least five receptions in three straight and five of the last six games. The lack of touchdowns is disappointing, but Robinson is still scoring in double digits at a very low price. I can live with that.
Chigoziem Okonkwo, Maryland ($4,400)
If you think Taulia is in for a good game, you may as well grab his favorite target as well. Okonkwo has 25 receptions for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the last three games. The Maryland receiver corps are all in good positions and they are cheap enough to afford whatever else you want with them. Okonkwo is the one I really want though. I can negotiate on Carlos Carriere and Rakim Jarrett.
Also consider: Dontavyion Wicks, Virginia ($8,300); Keytaon Thompson, Virginia ($7,200); Devon Williams, Oregon ($6,200); Bo Melton, Rutgers ($5,100); Chris Autman-Bell, Minnesota ($4,200)
