It's hard to accept that there are only five weeks left of the NFL regular season, and believe it or not, there is a lot on the line in Week 14 as it relates to playoff implications. While there isn't a team from the American Football Conference in the position to clinch a spot on Sunday, it's a different scenario in the National Football Conference, as the Cardinals, Packers, and Buccaneers could earn a postseason berth in a variety of ways.
With the postseason also nearing for most fantasy leagues, Week 14 presents its own set of issues, many of which could significantly impact how things play out. Of course, there is an abundance of players carrying injury designations, which certainly isn't ideal for those scratching and clawing to retain relevancy. Some teams will also finally get a bye, much to the dismay of many, meaning guys like Jonathan Taylor, Damien Harris, and Myles Gaskin won't be available.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 14 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Tom Brady, QB - vs. BUF ($8,200)
"Same town, new story, huh, pal?" After a chaotic brawl ensued inside the Double Duece, Wade said that to Dalton before the two went for some cold ones. Yet, that line doesn't make much sense when you think about it, primarily since the pair had built a reputation for cleaning up bars in different towns for many years. However, it's fitting when thinking about Brady against the Bills, a team he's faced many, many times throughout his legendary career, 35 to be exact.
The G.O.A.T has played well during those games, too, averaging 247 passing yards, two touchdowns, and less than one interception while maintaining a 97.9 passer rating. While that doesn't necessarily mean anything, it may be a good idea to continue to lean on Brady, especially considering how well he played against Atlanta in Week 13 and how poorly the Bills have played at times throughout the year. Oh, and for those haven't seen Road House, which is where that line came from, please do so, immediately.
Taysom Hill, QB - @ NYJ ($7,700)
Hill started during the Thursday Night Football affair against Dallas despite battling a foot injury. He had 264 yards and two touchdowns through the air and just over 100 yards on the ground. Yet, he did throw four picks, which isn't ideal.
Even worse, he injured the middle finger on his throwing hand, though he is still good to go against the Jets, a team that isn't very good. There is some good news in all of this, as Alvin Kamara should be cleared to return after missing his previous four outings because of a knee injury.
Also Consider: Patrick Mahomes ($8,500), Lamar Jackson ($7,900)
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Leonard Fournette, RB - vs. BUF ($7,600)
Without a doubt, Fournette has been one of the best fantasy backs over the last few weeks. He won DFS managers a lot of cash in Week 12, thanks to his 100-yard, three-touchdown rushing effort, which was complemented by his seven grabs for 31 yards and another score.
The veteran did take a step back comparatively speaking in Week 13 against Atlanta, although overall, it was another fantastic showing. Nonetheless, Fournette's rostering cost is a bargain against a Buffalo team that was looking to acquire him from Jacksonville before he ultimately landed in Tampa. The Bills also haven't looked too good at stopping the run, either, so he is worth a look in both cash and tournament formats on Sunday.
Antonio Gibson, RB - vs. DAL ($7,400)
After starting the year 2-6, the Football Team is sitting on a four-game win streak, with one of those victories coming against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Buccaneers. The play of Taylor Heinicke is a significant reason why Washington has played well. Yet, Gibson's production has been just as instrumental, if not more.
He appears to be back at full strength after battling a shin injury throughout the year, and he has an average of nearly 24 carries per game throughout his last four appearances as proof. He's also been busy on the receiving end, hauling in all but one of his 13 targets throughout the previous two outings, one of which resulted in a touchdown. Nevertheless, with the Cowboys up ahead and a chance to close the gap for the top spot in the NFC North, Gibson will undoubtedly continue to be involved.
Also Consider: Austin Ekeler ($9,200), Ezekiel Elliott ($6,900), Javonte Williams ($6,700), Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6,500), Devonta Freeman ($6,300)
FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Tyreek Hill, WR - vs. KC ($8,700)
Hill hasn't had the best of seasons, and to say he's struggled wouldn't accurately depict the overall disappointment experienced by the managers who took him early in fantasy drafts during the offseason. The speedy wideout has a career-high two fumbles, and he also ranks second in drops with six.
Yet, if he's ever going to turn things around, he has a good chance at getting things rolling against the Raiders. There isn't a team in the league he's played better against throughout his career, totaling eight touchdowns in 10 games against Las Vegas while averaging nearly 72 receiving yards during each of them. To further add to his already favorable outlook, he has his second-best showing of the year against the Raiders only a few weeks ago by accruing 24 fantasy points.
Ja'Marr Chase, WR - vs. SF ($7,200)
You'd be correct if you guessed Chase when figuring out who is ahead of Tyreek Hill on the drops' list. Still, he unquestionably remains not only one of the best rookies in the league, but he also should remain classified as one of the best wideouts, period. Granted, the former LSU Tiger has had a few uneventful weeks. Yet, we can blame Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins for that. However, with both men battling injuries, there's a strong chance that they may be limited to some degree, even if they play, which could open the door for Chase to get even more attention than normal.
Joe Burrow also sustained an injury of his own, a pinkie injury, during the team's previous matchup versus the Chargers. Fortunately, he's been throwing and appears on track to play against the 49ers as Cincinnati looks to remain in the postseason picture. As a result, it's likely Chase is featured, mainly since the team will need him to get his act together for it to be successful moving ahead.
Also Consider: Chris Godwin ($7,700), Keenan Allen ($7,600), Mike Evans ($7,200), Tee Higgins ($6,800), Hunter Renfrow ($6,700)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 14 DFS Lineup Picks
Travis Kelce, TE - vs. LV ($7,500)
Like Tyreek Hill, Kelce has also had his share of disappointing performances throughout the 2021-22 campaign. He's currently averaging a career-low 12.1 YPC, and his five touchdowns significantly put him on track to finish short of the 11 he had last season. Still, the 32-year-old has been too dominant throughout his eight years in the league, so he's bound to get back on track at some point, right?
What's reassuring is that he continues to lead all others at the position with 70 targets, receiving at least eight in all but three games this season. Even more promising, the Raiders have struggled against opposing tight ends and historically also haven't been able to keep the veteran in check. Nonetheless, with the Chiefs expected to put up a ton of points in Week 14 along with beautiful weather in the forecast on Sunday, things are looking good surrounding Kelce's potential against Las Vegas.
Also Consider: George Kittle ($7,100), Rob Gronkowski ($7,000), Kyle Pitts (5,900)
