Mito Pereira Looking To Bounce Back With Putter
3 years agoAfter gaining over half a stroke putting per round in six straight events, Mito Pereira broke his streak at The Honda Classic, losing a total of 4.44 strokes to finish T30. He gained strokes in each of the other three major statistical categories, though, which is promising. Pereira has gained strokes on approach in four of his last five starts, which is a comforting trend before playing in his maiden Players Championship. If he can continue to gain on the ball-striking front and do the rest of the scoring with his prolific putting, he should find himself rubbing shoulders with the world's best at the top of the leaderboard.
