Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez (hamstring) had an MRI on Saturday and received good news. The damage on his hamstring was minimal and he is expected to play next week. Baez is set to play every day in 2018 and will offer above-average power at both middle infield positions.

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (thumb) has been ruled out six weeks with a moderate thumb sprain. Robert was having a nice spring prior to suffering the injury and remains an exciting prospect. It will be a couple of more years before Robert is able to help fantasy teams.

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (ankle) received a cortisone shot, which helped calm down inflammation in his ankle. Posey also took an MRI exam, which ruled out anything serious. Posey is hoping he is good to go now and was in Friday’s lineup, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored.
