Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez went 2-for-4 with a triple, RBI and run scored on Saturday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Baez scored his lone run on a wild pitch by Gio Gonzalez. El Mago continues to have a strong season and is now hitting .287 with 26 home runs and 73 RBI.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Nicholas Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a run scored on Saturday versus the Brewers. The newest Cub hit his league leading 39th double in the contest. Castellanos is 4-for-12 since being acquired from the Cubs and is hitting .275 with 11 home runs and 37 RBI overall.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. hit his 12th home run of the season Saturday versus the Brewers. The outfielder finished the game 3-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI. Almora had a strong game Saturday, but has struggled offensively for the most part this season. He can be avoided in most formats.

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Brad Brach has been designated for assignment. Brach signed a one-year deal with the Cubs this offseason, but struggled mightily. Brach owns a 6.13 ERA and 1.76 WHIP over 39 2/3 innings. Brach could catch on with another team, but holds no fantasy value.
