With one week under our belts, many depth charts have come into focus and roles have been defined. The biggest thing to make sure when checking box scores is to not get too enamored with one big game or one awful outing. A player like Trea Shropshire had a massive week one, however he is taking a huge step up in competition facing a Georgia defense that held Clemson to just three points. As always, keep up on injury reports as they can drastically change the values of players.

The quarterback is going to be a bit more uneven than normal this week. Emory Jones is the prime example of this as he struggled in week one, but sees a significantly better match-up in week two against USF. Be sure to keep up on the news of Jones and backup Anthony Richardson’s status going into this week.

Sign Up Now!Anthony Brown was not incredible in week one, but is simply too cheap and should be one of the top owned plays on the slate for Oregon. Finally, Jack Coan looked the part of a top end quarterback in week one, but the issue in GPP’s is that he may simply not see as many opportunities if Notre Dame runs past Toledo.

As mentioned above, Notre Dame should handle Toledo this weekend as they currently sit at 19.5 point favorites. That should mean a massive work load for Kyren Williams, making him the top play on the slate, even at his price. After Williams, there is a bit of a mess as many teams are working in multiple running backs. Ohio State (Williams/Henderson/Teague), Texas A&M (Achane/Spiller) and Tennessee (Small/Evans) are the main ones to focus on here. All three should score plenty of points, but the issue is trying to figure out how the carries are split. All will be a risk, but could pay off in a huge way.
On the other end, Tyler Goodson and Breece Hall are locked into nice roles, but Iowa and Iowa State should be a tight, low scoring game with the total currently at 48.5. Other options like Bryant Koback or Isaih Pacheco might not have great game scripts, but should receive the bulk of the work.

This position seems a bit more straight forward than most weeks. Garrett Wilson is simply underpriced for his talent level. Chris Olave had the two big plays last week, but Wilson is potentially a top 10 pick, and plays an Oregon team that should keep it close.
Also keep an eye on high total games such as Ball State vs Penn State (58.5), Toledo vs Notre Dame (56.5) and South Carolina vs ECU (61.5). Those games may not all seem like spots to target pass catchers, but with high totals, there should be plenty of wide receiver value available.
