Week three in college DFS brings us very few great actual games, but there are some tasty DFS match-ups. It will also be interesting to see how name brands USC and FSU bounce back after losses last week and changes at head coach and quarterback respectively.

There are possibly some unexpected names on top of the GPP rankings as Jack Plummer and Adrian Martinez certainly don’t have the pedigree of a Spencer Rattler or D.J. Uiagalelei. However, those two are in prime match-ups this week as Purdue takes on a Notre Dame and Nebraska faces Oklahoma. Both quarterbacks are more talented than the players who have already lit up those defenses, giving them big upside.

Richardson is coming off an injury, faces a tough defense, and may not start, so his ownership may be under 2%, which is certainly a pathway to winning a GPP.

Running back is top heavy this week as Trey Potts, Kyren Williams and Kenneth Walker III should all be rock solid options in all formats given their big workloads. The other interesting spot will be the Ohio State backfield against a Tulsa team that should not be able to stop their ground game. It is a risk, but as North Carolina showed last year, in the right match-up there is plenty of merit to playing multiple running backs from the same team when they have a massive team total.
As far as low end plays, the likes of Jahmyr Gibbs and Kevin Marks Jr. have not quite lived up to their preseason hype, but have the ability to be game changers. In tough match-ups, expect both to be fairly low owned.

13 | Jayden Reed | 13 | Marvin Mims
14 | Payne Durham | 14 | Sam James
15 | Alec Pierce | 15 | Keylon Stokes |
Clearly Draftkings did not learn from last week as Garrett Wilson was mega-chalk, and despite a 8-117-1 performance, the Ohio State star only got a $500 price bump. So Wilson will again be incredibly highly owned again, but fade as your own risk.
After Wilson, there are several safe options including David Bell, Jaquarii Roberson and Samouri Toure who are all in plus match-ups. The bottom of the wide receiver ranks are often filled with cheap recievers in games where their teams may not keep it that close. Keylon Stokes and Quian Williams may rack up some nice junk time yardage, while plays like Jameson Williams and Marvin Mims could put up big numbers only to see limited snaps if they blowout their opponents.
