ANALYSIS: The ESPN crew couldn't stop raving about second-year tight end Crockett Gillmore as an ideal, cheap DFS option for the Ravens Week 2 matchup against Oakland. It seemed bizarre, seeing as the relatively unheralded receiver caught only two passes in Week 1 for 23 yards. Well, the prediction turned out to be a keen one, as Gillmore went off on Sunday to the tune of a 5-88-2 line, good for the most fantasy points of any tight end in Week 2. For a player who was previously known as a block-first tight end, the performance was a huge breakthrough, as Gillmore now seems to be a premiere receiving threat in Baltimore's long-ball prone offense. Much of Gillmore's Week 2 success can be chalked up to a Raiders defense that has had a ton of trouble accounting for big tight ends. Tyler Eifert ripped through the same crew in Week 1. A Week 3 matchup against a stout Cincinnati defense will be a more accurate test of Gillmore's abilities. If he continues to perform in coming weeks, he could easily become a top-10 NFL tight end. More importantly, he could be a very tantalizing 'sell-high' fantasy trade option before he goes back to his natural role as a blocker.
