Hitter Streamers for 6/21 - Shallow Leagues
Jonathan India (2B/3B, RHB, CIN) - 43% Rostered
Matchup: at MIN LHP J.A. Happ
India has shown terrific plate discipline in his rookie season, posting an 11.6% walk rate and .366 on-base percentage. He's also chipped in with power and speed, hitting six home runs with four stolen bases. India came into Sunday's action with a .358 wOBA against lefties, so it's a good matchup against Happ. Happ has allowed four runs or more in six of his last seven starts. He's also posted a .354 xwOBA, which ranks in the 16th-percentile.
Bobby Bradley (1B, LHB, CLE) - 25% Rostered
Matchup: at CHC RHP Adbert Alzolay
Bradley has been terrific since being called up to the big leagues, slashing .308/.386/.667 with four home runs in 13 games. He's been much better against righties, putting up a .324/.343/.647 slash against them on the season. Alzolay is a good pitcher (who will be featured as an SP streamer later in this article), but there's a chance that he doesn't go too deep in this game because it'll be his first start since June 7th after a brief stint on the injured list.
SS Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 19% Rostered
Matchup: at ARI RHP Merrill Kelly
Adames has been solid since being traded to the Brewers, slashing .264/.330/.440 with three homers and one steal in 27 games. He has two multi-hit games in his last three, including a homer on Saturday against the Rockies. Adames has a good matchup against Kelly, who is starting to struggle of late, allowing four or more runs in three of his last four starts. Fire up Adames in a game that could wind up as a high-scoring affair.
Hitter Streamers for 6/21 - Deeper Leagues
Myles Straw (OF, RHB, HOU) - 16% Rostered
Matchup: at BAL LHP Keegan Akin
If you need an infusion of speed in your roster, Straw is your guy, having racked up eight stolen bases this season. He's also swung the bat well of late, going 15-for-44 (.341) with nine runs, one homer, six RBI, and three steals in his last 13 games. Straw gets a good matchup against Akin, who is coming off a poor start against Cleveland where he allowed eight runs in 4.2 innings. The Astros should be able to pile on the runs in this game.
Harold Ramirez (OF, RHB, CLE) - 4% Rostered
Matchup: at CHC RHP Adbert Alzolay
It appears that with Jose Ramirez on the shelf, Harold Ramirez has decided to start hitting like the team's injured slugger, having homered three times in his last two games. Ramirez has hit in the 5-spot in this Indians lineup, so he's in a prime position for run production. He makes for a cheap piece of an Indians stack that figures to be under-owned in DFS. We need to ride the hot streak here against Alzolay.
Chas McCormick (OF, RHB, HOU) - 3% Rostered
Matchup: at BAL LHP Keegan Akin
McCormick has shown off some pop lately, homering four times in his last 10 games. We need to fire him up against Akin in the bandbox that is Camden Yards. The Astros have a chance to put up crooked numbers in this one. McCormick can be a cheap piece of an Astros stack in DFS, which is huge because most of their hitters will come at a high price. Go with McCormick for the power upside in this game.
Pitcher Streamers for 6/21 - Shallow Leagues
Adbert Alzolay (RHP, LAD) - 48% Rostered
Matchup: vs. CLE
Alzolay makes his return from the IL to take on an Indians team that figures to be without Jose Ramirez for a third straight game. Alzolay was having a terrific season prior to the injury, showing strong control with strikeout upside as evidenced by his 19.8 K-BB% in 57.2 innings this year. This is a rare case where I'm recommending a pitcher and hitter in the same game, but that's because Alzolay is unlikely to pitch deep into this game, but should still provide a quality start with strikeout upside.
Pitcher Streamers for 6/21 - Deeper Leagues
Jake Odorizzi (RHP, HOU) - 16% Rostered
Matchup: at BAL
Odorizzi is coming off a promising outing in long relief, pitching four shutout innings, allowing two hits with zero walks and three strikeouts. Odorizzi has enough of a track record for us to project him to start to turn his season around, so any signs of life put him back on the streaming radar. He has a good chance at a quality start with a win, as the Astros are heavily favored here and the Orioles have struggled against righties this season (.306 wOBA, 19th)
