Tyler O'Neill (OF, RHB, STL) - 63% Rostered
Matchup: at NYM LHP Rich Hill
O'Neill is starting to get hot, coming into Sunday with a .382 OBP, four homers, and one steal in the last 14 days. He's slashing .304/.410/.623 against lefties this season and he'll get one here in Hill. While it's not ideal to stream a hitter in a pitcher's park like Citi Field, you have to fire up O'Neill because he's been known to go on some epic power binges. It's also a bonus that he chips in some stolen bases.
Bobby Dalbec (1B/3B, RHB, BOS) - 42% Rostered
Matchup: at SEA RHP Logan Gilbert
Dalbec is swinging a hot bat right now, posting a .346 OBP with five homers in the last 14 days entering Sunday's games. The young slugger has fantastic power, so it's encouraging to see him getting on-base as well. Dalbec is now slashing .290/.363/.634 with 11 homers since the All-Star Break. It looks like this young hitter is starting to figure out the big leagues. He has a good matchup against Gilbert, who has a 6.75 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in the second half.
Brandon Belt (1B/OF, LHB, SF) - 38% Rostered
Matchup: vs. SD RHP Yu Darvish
Belt has been mashing lately, entering Sunday's action with a .439 OBP and four homers in his last 14 days. Since the All-Star Break, the lefty slugger is slashing .267/.369/.657 with 12 homers. Belt has a tough matchup with Darvish, but it might not be as difficult as it seems on paper. Darvish has really struggled in the second half of the season, posting a 6.15 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 41 innings.
Hitter Streamers for 9/13 - Deeper Leagues
Lane Thomas (OF, RHB, WAS) - 14% Rostered
Matchup: vs. MIA RHP Sandy Alcantara
Thomas came into Sunday with strong numbers in his last 14 days, putting up a .361 OBP with four homers. Since the All-Star Break, Thomas is slashing .311/.406/.522 with three homers and two steals. This is a tough matchup against Alcantara, who is absolutely rolling right now, but we gotta ride the hot streak here. It's also great to see that Thomas has been a fixture in the leadoff spot.
Leody Taveras (OF, SHB, TEX) - 12% Rostered
Matchup: vs. HOU RHP Jake Odorizzi
Taveras came into this season as a popular sleeper target because he provided stolen base upside at the end of fantasy drafts. While he was a massive disappointment, he's really turned it on in September, entering Sunday with a .270/.270/.486 slash with one homer and one steal. Taveras has also been a fixture in the leadoff spot for the Rangers, putting him in a great position for counting stats.
D.J. Peters (OF, RHB, TEX) - 4% Rostered
Matchup: vs. HOU RHP Jake Odorizzi
Peters has been mashing lately, homering five times in the last 14 days. He's been a fixture in the fourth or fifth spot in this Rangers lineup, so he's in a prime position for run production. Peters has a good matchup against Odorizzi, who has put up a 4.94 ERA and 1.44 WHIP since the All-Star Break. You have to go with this hot hitter here in deeper leagues, especially in this exploitable matchup.
Pitcher Streamers for 9/13 - Shallow Leagues
Logan Gilbert (RHP, SEA) - 26% Rostered
Matchup: vs. BOS
I mentioned how Gilbert has really struggled in the second half, but he's started to show some signs of life lately. In his last two starts, he's combined for: 9.1 IP, 10 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, and 9 K. While it's a tough matchup against the Red Sox, we've seen Gilbert's ceiling this season: 7 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, and 8 K against the Yankees. I'd roll the dice and take the risk with Gilbert here.
Pitcher Streamers for 9/13 - Deep Leagues
A.J. Alexy (RHP, TEX) - 17% Rostered
Matchup: vs. HOU
Alexy has been very impressive in his two starts this month, combining for 11 shutout innings with two hits, five walks, and 11 strikeouts. While he's definitely not been as good as his surface stats suggest (24.7% CSW), you need to fire him up while he's looking like this. Opposing lineups are unfamiliar with him, so he can catch these hitters off guard. Keep riding the wave against the Astros.
