I promised that I would be ramping up the college basketball coverage come March, and here we are! You'll be seeing a lot more from me. If the slate is relatively full like our eight-game offering here today, I'll be here! Oh, and when the conference tournaments start, you'll be plenty familiar with the players going into the NCAA tournament. There's lot's of money to be made there. Who's coming with me! It's a lot less chilly than streaking through the quad.
In college basketball it's perfectly fine to ignore slow-paced games or teams with tough matchups on a large slate like this. Choosing a couple of spots wisely has been the key this year. The only game over 146 today is basketball's version of the Iron Bowl at 157. The next closest are Xaver-Georgetown and Duke-Georgia Tech at 145.5. I'll have a lot of exposure to the Iron Bowl, especially to Auburn guards if Sharife Cooper is still out. Cooper is listed as doubtful, so that seems likely. We may have Ayu Dosunmu back though. Keep an eye on that.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Franz Wagner, Michigan ($7,800)
I feel a lot better about this pick if Ayu Dosunmu remains sidelined. Ohio State's athletic guards slowed down Wagner quite well. The same could happen if Dosunmu is healthy for Illinois. He hasn't been battling any leg issues so Dosunmu should hit the ground running whenever he is able to return. If he's out, Wagner should top 30 DraftKings points again for the fifth time in seven games. There are few sure things at guard today. If Dosunmu is out, Wagner likely is. If Dosunmu plays I have no plans on using him, but there's a good chance I wont use Wagner either.
Allen Flanigan, Auburn ($7,200)
I like Flanigan regardless of the status of Sharife Cooper. Flanigan put up 39 DraftKings points in the first game against Alabama with Cooper in the lineup. If Cooper is out, Alabama will likely put more resources towards stopping Flanigan. That may limit his production some, but not enough for me to move off of him entirely. This is too good of a spot to ignore. Devan Cambridge and Jamal Johnson are both in superb spots for their price if Cooper sits as expected. You can stack all three Auburn guards in this one if you are into the game stacking approach.
Jahvon Quinerly, Alabama ($6,200)
Quinerly isn't the first name that comes to mind when you think of Alabama basketball. Herbert Jones and John Petty are likely those guys. What if I told you that Quinerly's output was close to or better than both of them over the last three weeks? He might be the only reason that Alabama is not on a three game slide right now. He was instrumental in pulling out close wins over Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. Quinerly doesn't have the big upside that Jones and Petty have, but his floor has been much safer than those two over the last half of February.
Jordan Goldwire, Duke ($5,100)
Goldwire, like most of his teammates, has been very inconsistent this season. Duke as a team has started to play better, but it has only meant moderate personal success for Goldwire. That said, Goldwire had a ceiling game against Georgia Tech earlier this year. Sometimes a little confidence can go a long way. Goldwire's history against the Bees is worth mentioning because this price tag opens up a lot if you have the stomach for it.
Also consider: Jamorko Pickett, Georgetown ($7,500); D'Mitrik Trice, Wisconsin ($7,000); DJ Steward, Duke ($6,500); Dante Harris, Georgetown ($5,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Moses Wright, Georgia Tech ($9,000)
Matthew Hurt had a solid game in the first meeting against Georgia Tech and is a big reason behind Duke's recent surge towards a NCAA tournament berth. Want to know a little secret? Moses Wright still has more DraftKings points than Hurt over the last two weeks and he's $200 cheaper. That's not even taking into account Wright's abuse of the Duke frontcourt back at the end of January. Wright put up 47.5 DraftKings points in that game. I'd be willing to bet that Wright outdoes Hurt again, but if you're willing to go cheap at guard, this is a great matchup for both and I have no issues running them together.
Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($8,400)
I had to check this price three times to make sure it wasn't a typo. Jackson-Davis hasn't been priced this low in almost a month. I'm not about to give up on him after a poor performance against a top-five Michigan squad. DraftKings apparently is. How quickly they forget what Jackson-Davis did to this Spartans team just nine days ago. I remember. His 51.25 DraftKings points got me into a top-30 finish. I'll be riding Trayce heavily in this one again. There are a few teams that can guard Jackson-Davis. Michigan State is not one of them. For what it's worth, the Spartans couldn't stop Race Thompson either. He's a nice alternative to Jackson-Davis if you're strapped for cash.
JT Thor, Auburn ($6,300)
Thor brought the (yellow) hammer down on Alabama in the first meeting, scorching the Tide for 43.75 DraftKings points in just 23 minutes. Thor's role has only increased of late with strong performances against Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU, and Florida. Thor was over 22 DraftKings points in all four of those games. Some of that has to do with Cooper's absence, but not all of it. It's not often than you can find a guy consistently scoring that well in this price range. Thor will be in every build tonight. He's too cheap for the numbers that he's been putting up of late.
KJ Buffen, Mississippi ($4,800)
Kentucky is another team that is playing better down the stretch, but this is another instance where it's time to attack the pricing anomaly on DraftKings. Buffen has been back in the starting lineup for Ole Miss in each of the last three games and still isn't priced like the starter. Buffen fell out of the lineup and into a bit bench role at the end of January and the beginning of February and the price still didn't really adjust. Buffen has a ceiling of about 25 DraftKings points, but his floor seems to be around 15-18 as the starter. That's a solid return for the price.
Also consider: Matthew Hurt, Duke ($9,200); Aaron Henry, Michigan State ($8,100); Wendell Moore, Jr., Duke ($5,900); Justin Lewis, Marquette ($3,900) only if Jamal Cain is out.
