DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/28/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CFB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

We went from 68 teams down to 16 in just five days. Now the games are fewer, but there are still a lot of elite DFS options out there. Creighton won two NCAA Tournament games in a row for the first time in school history. Three Pac 12 teams are in action today after most of the college basketball world paid them little mind in the regular season. We have the number one overall seed, the only Big Ten(14) team still standing, and one of the fastest teams in the country on this slate. This is going to be a blast!

As you may imagine, the Alabama implied total is high. Not for them, mind you. Vegas does expect UCLA to impose their will on the Tide somewhat with the total "only" at 145.5. Gonzaga-Creighton has by far the highest total at 158.5, but the Bulldogs are again heavy favorites (-13.5). Oregon-USC has the lowest total at 139. These teams only played once in the regular season with USC winning by 14 and only 130 points scored. Do we have reason to think it will be different this time around?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/28/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Herbert Jones, Alabama ($7,700)

Jones was a non-factor against Maryland because of foul trouble and because the Tide didn't need him. If you've watched Alabama at all this year, Jones is the guy that hangs back in the shadows, but is capable of taking a game over if needed. The implied total suggests that Jones will need to help propel the Tide to victory in this one. Alabama is a very balanced team, but in a game that is supposed to stay close, Jones is the one worth hitching your wagon to.

Eli Brooks, Michigan ($6,700)

Brooks had a season-high 21 points to help propel Michigan into the second weekend. With only 16 teams left, there aren't a lot of poor defensive units left standing. The Florida State guard corps are one of the better places to attack on this slate. They were in the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to guards this year. The dynamic of Michigan changed when Isiah Livers went down a couple of weeks ago. Brooks has been the guy who has consistently stepped up to take on a larger role. Expect that trend to continue.

Tahj Eaddy, USC ($5,700)

Eaddy had one of his best games of the season against the Ducks in a game when Evan Mobley was contained. Oregon's interior defense will have a hard time doing that again, but when facing a team like USC, you try and stop the best player first. That's Mobley, and Oregon proved they couldn't stop both Eaddy and Mobley. Eaddy hasn't had under 20 DraftKings points in a game since the end of February. I'm riding the wave of a guy playing his best basketball of the season again.

Also consider: Johnny Juzang, UCLA ($7,400); Jaime Jaquez, UCLA ($6,600); Jahvon Quinerly, Alabama ($5,900);  M.J. Walker, Florida State ($4,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Drew Timme, Gonzaga ($8,200)

Oklahoma didn't have the size to handle Timme. The same is true of Creighton. His versatility at his size is nearly impossible to defend and is what makes Gonzaga so hard to beat. Much like Oklahoma last round, Creighton could play a perfect game and likely still lose this game. A large reason for that is Timme's ability to dominate the middle. Creighton's tallest regular player is 6'7". This is another dream matchup for Timme, and for us that choose to use him.

Isaiah Mobley, USC ($6,500)

Yes, I'm actually going with the lesser-known of the Mobley brothers here. The elder Mobley has had a slightly better tournament than his more-famous freshman phenom brother at a significantly lower price. Mobley didn't play in the first meeting with Oregon because of a foot injury. This is another thing that I think plays to his advantage. The way the brothers play together is what makes USC special. If the Trojans are to get past the Ducks again here, it will be because of Eaddy and the elder Mobley.

Jules Bernard, UCLA ($5,800)

The Bruins caught a break when Abilene Christian knocked off a Texas team that could have given UCLA a whole slew of problems. Not that Alabama can't, but this is a team that the Bruins match up pretty well with. Their pace isn't as fast as Alabama's, but they can keep up with them if the Tide don't let UCLA control the game. That would be a lot better for us DFS players. The Michigan State and BYU games both played faster than experts predicted, so I see this one hitting the over too. That means another big game for Bernard, who has 175 DraftKings points over the six games since March began.

Balsa Koprivica, Florida State ($5,100)

Koprivica fouled out in just 11 minutes against Colorado last weekend, but he was playing well when he was on the court. There's a chance that Michigan goes after him like Colorado did, but I would like to think that Koprivica will have learned to deal with teams doing that to him. His new found offensive chops have given the Seminoles another dimension in this tournament run. For this low of a price, I'm willing to see if it can continue.

Also consider: Evan Mobley, USC ($8,500); Eugene Omoruyi, Oregon ($7,600); Corey Kispert, Gonzaga ($7,500); Eric Williams, Oregon ($5,400)
