DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/26/21 Late)

Part of what makes Thanksgiving weekend so much fun for us college football fanatics is that they load both Friday and Saturday with games. There are only two games on the late Friday slate. I wish DraftKings would have split this up a little more evenly, but that's not to say that this small slate wont be action-packed as well. Let's wee what we're dealing with, shall we?

We kick off the prime time slate with North Carolina making the short trek to Raleigh to take on the Wolfpack. This is meeting number 111 in this long and storied rivalry. What can possibly top that? The Apple Cup nightcap in Seattle just might. We've got a very entertaining slate tonight even though it is a little small.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings that locks at 7 pm eastern on 11/26/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Sam Howell, North Carolina ($8,900)

Sam Howell is not missing this game. The Tarheels hinting that he isn't 100% is just gamesmanship. 100% healthy doesn't mean the same at this point in the season as it does at the beginning. Howell gets top billing because of his added rushing upside. Howell has topped 100 rushing yards in half of the games this year and just missed (98) in one more. This is a tough matchup, but this is a rivalry. We'll see the best Howell has to offer tonight.

Devin Leary, North Carolina State ($7,500)

A contrarian play on this slate would be to fade Howell or play just one quarterback. If you go that route, why not do both? Leary has been scoring right up there with Howell despite the lack of rushing upside. Leary has at least 22 DraftKings points in six straight games, only falling under 29 twice. He has five straight games over 300 yards passing and the Tarheels aren't going to slow him down there. Leary has 16 touchdown passes to only three interceptions in the last five games. He may not have the ceiling of Howell, but the floor is much higher and the ceiling more attainable.

Also consider: Jayden de Laura, Washington State ($7,700); Dylan Morris, Washington ($6,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Max Borghi, Washington State ($5,900)

This seems cheap for a guy who is as involved in the offense as Borghi is. The Washington defense has been tough all year. The offense has been the problem. McIntosh is very active in the offense as well, but when it comes to a game in which the Cougars need to get those tough yards and move the ball, they have leaned more heavily on Borghi.

Zonovan Knight, North Carolina State ($5,500)

Knight is another guy that has his upside capped by a backup that is nearly an equal. Still, Knight has found a way to put up strong fantasy outings of late even with capped upside. He has a return touchdown in each of the last two games. Considering that North Carolina has allowed an average of 175 rushing yards on the ground this year with nearly two rushing touchdowns per game, I'll take that upside.

Ricky Person Jr., North Carolina State ($4,800)

Person has more touches than Knight in the offense in all but one game this season. Knight is more explosive, which is why he's priced higher and why I rank him a little higher. Still, if North Carolina somehow shows up against the run and makes the Wolfpack work for it, Person could really shine. Even if that isn't the case, Person is still good for a dozen touches. He can do a lot of damage with that.

Also consider: Ty Chandler, North Carolina ($6,600); Cameron Davis, Washington ($5,100); Deon McIntosh, Washington State ($4,100)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Josh Downs, North Carolina ($7,100)

I don't acre how good the Wolfpack pass defense has been. Downs is one of the best receivers in the country. He is averaging 108.9 yards per game this year. The problem is that Downs hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 7 against Miami. Still, the targets are there and most teams can't stop him. Downs has the highest floor on the slate and due to volume, he still has a nice ceiling.

Rome Odunze, Washington ($5,200)

It took a while for a receiver to finally step up for the Huskies. Odunze has hauled in 17 passes in the last two games for 150 yards and a touchdown. He even has a couple of carries in that span! Odunze is the most exciting player on a painfully average offense. They have had moderate success while funneling touches to Odunze lately. Expect that trend to continue.

Christopher Toudle, North Carolina State ($3,900)

Thomas and Emezie are the better known and more successful receivers, and considering the weakness of the North Carolina secondary, they could still be great options. In fact, one of them will be. However, the disturbing trend of late is that one has a monster game and the defense takes the other out of the game. Then we have Toudle, who has eight receptions and two touchdowns over the last two games. If the Tarheels don't succeed in taking one of the alpha receivers out of the game, this play could be a disaster. Still, his upside considering the usage at this price is hard to ignore.

Also consider: Travell Harris, Washington State ($6,900); Thayer Thomas, North Caorlina State ($5,400); Emeka Emezie, North Carolina State ($5,000); Ja'Lynn Polk, Washington ($4,000)
