DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/6/21 Primetime)

breece hall NFL Draft fantasy football rankings rookies draft sleepers

We have another eight games for our Saturday prime time college football slate on DraftKings. There are some big ones on here. We start off in the SEC with Kentucky hosting Tennessee and LSU heading to Tuscaloosa. It's not as glamorous as it once was, that's for sure. We have the Big Ten(14) in prime time with Northwestern hosting the reeling Iowa Hawkeyes. Fresno plays host to Boise in a big game for the Mountain West.

A half-hour later, the rest of the action starts. Oregon heads up to Seattle to face Washington. Texas is in Ames with both teams trying to salvage their seasons. Clemson heads to Louisville. We close it out with Michigan hosting Indiana as the Hoosiers still get no reprieve.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup primetime picks for DraftKings on 11/6/21, locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Bryce Young, Alabama ($9,600)

The Tide are slowly turning into a passing team. Young has at least two passing touchdowns in every game this season and has put up three consecutive games of more than 300 passing yards. The two touchdowns on the ground against Tennessee were just a bonus. This LSU defense is a shadow of what it was in 2019. There wont be much to stop the Tide here. Young will likely get the fourth quarter off, but his floor still looks very good.

Jake Haener, Fresno State ($7,700)

Haener hasn't thrown an interception since his forgettable disaster on the islands back in Week 5, but he only have five touchdown passes since then too. The Fresno offense is evolving, but a date with Boise might see Haener take to the air more often like he did against the Aztecs last week. Boise has allowed a couple of 300 yard games this year. Haener is a solid bet to put up another.

Andrew Marty, Northwestern ($5,600)

The Iowa defense was gouged through the air by Purdue and on the ground by Wisconsin. Northwestern's run game isn't really strong enough to do a lot of damage against Iowa, but Marty, the newly-minted starting quarterback, is an interesting case. He took over for the struggling Ryan Hilinski against Minnesota and led the Wildcats to both of their scores on the day. He now has four touchdowns, no interceptions, and 21 completions in 32 attempts. There is potential here with his price this low.

Also consider: Anthony Brown, Oregon ($8,200); Hendon Hooker, Tennessee ($7,500); Hank Bachmeier, Boise State ($6,800); D.J. Uiagalelei, Clemson ($5,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Breece Hall, Iowa State ($9,000)

Given how badly Texas has been gouged by the run of late and the percentage of carries that Hall gets, he has slate-breaking potential here. Hall has scored a touchdown in 20 consecutive games and hasn't been under 18 DraftKings points this season. He's a low-risk option with a great ceiling. You really can't ask for anything more when paying up at any position.

Brian Robinson Jr., Alabama ($8,700)

LSU has given up more than 200 rushing yards three times this year, including twice in the last three games. With Alabama likely trying to drain the clock with a big lead in the second half, we could see Robinson have a strong game. He has scored six touchdowns in the last two games, so we always have those to fall back on as well. The Tide have scored at least 31 points in every game this season. For someone that is as involved in the offense as Robinson is, he can't help but pick up some of the scores.

Tyler Goodson, Iowa ($6,000)

Northwestern has allowed over 290 rushing yards in two straight games and four overall. My issue with Goodson is that Iowa sometimes uses up to four backs, but they need the entire team to get their mojo back after being smacked by Wisconsin and dominated by Purdue. There is good potential here for Goodson, but it is not without risk. He hasn't scored a touchdown of any sort since Week 5 and hasn't scored one on the ground since Week 3.

George Holani, Boise State ($3,500)

Holani doesn't have the wiggle that Habibi-Likio has, but he did lead the Boise rushers in carries against Colorado State last week. It appears that a healthy Holani is still the lead back, and at worse in an even split. He's also $1200 cheaper than Cyrus. I love the value on Holani here.

Also consider: Travis Dye, Oregon ($8,900); Will Shipley, Clemson (6,400); Cyrus Habibi-Likio, Boise State ($4,700); Jalen Mitchell, Louisville ($4,400)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

John Metchie III, Alabama ($7,700)

Now that the Alabama passing is getting going, so is Metchie. He has back-to-back 100-yard receiving games with three touchdowns in those two games. There are a myriad of ways that the Tide can and will attack LSU. Getting those pieces right could be one of the keys to unlocking this slate. All of the Alabama pieces are expensive, but LSU gives away points like we all liberally gave away candy on Sunday.

Wan'Dale Robinson, Kentucky ($6,900)

Volume is king in many aspects of DFS. Robinson has that in spades. He has 29 receptions over the last three games and a couple of carries. He hasn't turned those receptions into a ton of yards, but that's an average of ten free points per game. Even with Josh Ali back, Robinson still caught nine passes last week. Robinson has one of the most stable floors out there and we all know how fast he is. There's a lot of potential here.

Devon Williams, Oregon ($5,300)

The Ducks still spread it around a lot, but the run game isn't as powerful as it was with C.J. Verdell. Not to say that it's bad. It's just a little different. Williams may see more targets in this one, at least in the first half. Johnny Johnson III got tossed for targeting in the second half last week, so Williams is easily the best option for the first half of this game against Washington. Considering how tough Washington has been against the run, this is a very nice spot for Williams.

Peyton Hendershot, Indiana ($4,900)

No matter who's at quarterback, Hendershot is the main target. He has at least three receptions against every FBS team that Indiana has played and has topped five in all but two games. That's a pretty high floor for someone in this price range. Hendershot has three touchdowns in the last two games. Look for him to be the favorite target as the Hoosiers try to keep up with Michigan.

Joshua Moore, Texas ($4,800)

The Cyclones have some good corners and they have done a good job on lead receivers. It's the second and third options that have got some points against the Cyclones. With Jordan Whittington out, Moore moves up in the pecking order. Moore had 472 yards and nine touchdowns on 30 receptions last year. There is potential here with him higher up in the pecking order.

Also consider: Khalil Shakir, Boise State ($7,300); Justyn Ross, Clemson ($6,000); Ty Fryfogle, Indiana ($5,100); Andrel Anthony, Michigan ($4,900); JaVonta Payton, Tennessee ($3,900)
