Welcome to Week 15, the craziest week of the season with three games already getting postponed. It has been one hell of a year for me in fantasy football. In Week 3, I turned $1,000 into $1,335,000 (see my winning lineup below.) It was the most incredible, exciting, and nerve-racking day of my life, and anyone who plays DFS dreams of that moment. I hit another $109,000 in the showdown between KC and DEN in Week 13. Having played DFS for over five years now, I’ve seen it all. My goal is to help you succeed and win as much money as possible, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
I use a ton of different tools, listen to podcasts, read articles, and follow football news daily. It is critically important to stay engaged throughout the week when preparing for Sunday. It’s too hard to win when you wake up on Sunday morning, having done minimal research, and just throw a lineup together. Remember, you are playing against professionals who are invested heavily into this, so you must be on your A-game every single day.
This week is especially important with everything that’s going on. I’m going to tell you a little about my strategy and then we’ll dive into my studs and stacks of the week.

My DraftKings DFS Strategy and Approach
Winning first place requires taking calculated risks but that doesn’t mean you need to avoid all the “chalk”. When you see my winning lineup from Week 3 below, you will notice my team was rather chalky that week besides Mike Williams, my difference maker.
Our main goal when we create a lineup is to aim for the highest number of points possible, so don’t shy away from players you love just because a lot of other people love those players too. You need to pay attention to obvious stuff such as matchups (including matchup history), injuries, COVID, weather and potential game flow, to name a few. But my biggest piece of advice is very simple: go with your gut.
This week I am going to narrow down my list of studs to three players that you must have. Now let’s get down to business.
DraftKings DFS Must-Have Plays of the Week
RB James Robinson $5,400 – What an absolute disaster in Jacksonville this season. In less than a year with the Jags, Urban Meyer must be declared as one of the worst head coaches in NFL history. Darrell Bevell is replacing him as the interim head coach until the season ends, and that is the best possible news for the Jags offense. “James Robinson is our starting RB, and he will be played as such,” the first-year Jacksonville OC said, per NFL insider Ari Meirov.
Throw out everything Robinson has done so far this year. Bevell has constructed some elite offenses in his coaching career, and those teams have always been successful running the football. I have been pounding running backs against the Texans all year, and it’s worked out very well for me. Looking at the stats, the Texans have allowed a league high 1,923 rushing yards, 4.7 YPC as well as 22 rushing touchdowns -- which both rank 2nd worst in the entire NFL. On top of all of that, the Jags are favored by four points at home, so for $5,400 I am all over Robinson this week. Lock him into every single lineup you have, and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
WR Diontae Johnson $7,500 – One of the most consistent wide receivers in the entire NFL, last week marked the first time since Week 1 that Johnson didn’t finish inside the top 24 among the WR position in PPR. Since that Week 1 game, he has absolutely crushed expectations. He has at least 10 games this year with at least 10 targets, behind the one and only Cooper Kupp (12 games of 10+ targets).
In his last five games, Johnson is averaging 7.2 receptions on 12.2 targets which leads us to a solid floor every single week. He has yet to play in a game this season and not score double digit PPR points. When he scores, we see a much higher ceiling which leads to him not only paying off his $7,500 price tag, but potentially destroying it. With three games getting postponed already, I am looking for guys with higher floors as it could get pretty ugly for DFS on Sunday. Johnson is not only a safe play, but also a fantastic play.
WR Davante Adams $8,900 – Remember when I said that I am looking for guys with a higher floor this week? Not only is Davante Adams the safest player on the slate, but he is also the best player on the slate, and I don’t think it is close. If Marlon Humphrey was playing, I don’t know if I could pull the trigger at $8,900. But who is going to guard him? Jimmy Smith, Chris Westry, Tavon Young and Anthony Averett? I think not.
Nobody in the league can guard this guy anyway, but when you see the corners that are going to be lined up against the best receiver in football, it sure is eye popping. Adams has four games this season where he finished with at least 30-40 points on DK, so do not fear the $8,900 price tag, because he can and will pay off.
