This is the time of year that us college basketball fans have been waiting for! We have two large tournaments on DraftKings today, encompassing all major conference tournament games. This is where the real madness begins. It begins a half-hour before noon out East, so make sure you duck out for your lunch a bit early and get those lineups finalized. it's going to be a fun one!
Despite the large seven-game slate, only two of those games have implied totals over 140. Oklahoma State and West Virginia tip the scales at 151, and that's without Cade Cunningham being confirmed as active (he likely will be. Obviously Vegas thinks so). Arizona State-Oregon weighs at 147.5, and if you paid attention to the Pac 12 games yesterday, there were some really high scores out there. Mississippi State-Kentucky and Syracuse-Virginia just barely clear 130. I'll have limited exposure to those two, especially with those two high totals on this slate.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Chris Duarte, Oregon ($8,200)
Cunningham sat out the end of the regular season with a sore ankle. The Cowboys are saying that he's fine for this one, but Duarte is $1,000 cheaper and had a monster game against Arizona State earlier in the season. Duarte put up 41.25 DraftKings points in that game. The game came in a little under today's implied total, so I'm expecting around the same production here. Oregon is merely fighting for seeding right now, but I still expect a strong showing from Duarte, especially for what looks to be a depressed price.
Michael Devoe, Georgia Tech ($7,600)
This could be the end of the road for Miami. The Hurricanes played well in upsets over Pitt and Clemson over the last two days to get here. Their reward is a Georgia Tech team that handed them at 27-point beatdown on February 20. Devoe was a big part of that. He put up 37.5 DraftKings points in that one and has been on a tear ever since. Devoe has only been held under 30 DraftKings points once since then. That was against a good defensive squad in Virginia Tech. The chances of a Miami team playing their third game in the last 60 hours holding Devoe under that threshold are very unlikely. Jose Alvarado is another nice pick to run at a gassed Miami team.
D.J. Stewart, Mississippi State ($6,700)
Stewart played 47 of the 50 minutes in the first meeting with Kentucky, a two overtime thriller. Expecting that again would be a bit off base. Stewart had 34.25 DraftKings points in that one, which would be a solid score for this price. What really draws me to Stewart though is his consistency. Stewart has between 24 and 34 DraftKings points in every game since Valentine's Day. He has become the most accomplished scorer for the Bulldogs and the price is still reasonable. I'll take that for a Bulldogs team that still has an outside shot at sneaking into the tournament. Iverson Molinar is an acceptable substitute if you find yourself short of cash, but I don't think I would play both together. This is pegged to be a low scoring affair.
Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($4,400)
Collin Gillespie is done for the season and Justin Moore wont be able to participate in the Big East tournament, so that leaves Daniels and Bryan Antoine as the guards who have played any kind of meaningful minutes this year. Daniels has played well when he's been on the court and DraftKings didn't adjust the price. He's a free square in any format that I would advise against fading. If you're feeling really froggy or really cheap, Chris Arcidiacono is penciled in as a starter. His brother Ryan is in the NBA and Chris has been known to practice with Ryan and his teammates from time to time. Arcidiacono is possibly my favorite GPP target ever.
Also consider: Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma State ($9,200); Jahvon Blair, Georgetown ($6,800); Taz Sherman, West Virginia ($5,500); Jaelen House, Arizona State ($4,600)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Moses Wright, Georgia Tech ($9,500)
I'm a little worried that Miami gets blown off the floor. I'm equally concerned about Georgia Tech's guards dominating this game. We'll have the money to pay for Wright, but I can see a fade here. He put up 39 DraftKings points in the first meeting against Miami with the Tech guards also playing well in that one. I like Wright, I just don't know that I'm going to compromise other pieces of my lineup to get him in there. If spending this kind of money, Cade Cunningham has the higher upside. Wright is more of a sure thing.
Sam Hauser, Virginia ($8,100)
I attacked the Syracuse front yesterday with the NC State forwards and it didn't go well. However, in DFS you have to have a short memory and follow the numbers. The numbers say that Syracuse is still not a good frontcourt team on the defensive end. Hauser racked up 41.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. This game has one of the lowest implied totals on the slate. That's part of the reason I'm after Hauser. Though he is a good scorer, he puts up strong peripheral numbers too. That makes him an acceptable risk in what is expected to be a slow-paced game.
Jermaine Samuels, Villanova ($6,400)
Daniels and Arcidiacono are going to do fine running the offense, but neither one of them can score like Gillespie or Moore. Much of the scoring load will fall on the frontcourt. Samuels is playing well of late anyway, so his output for the price should be on par with what Robinson-Earl does for the price. The middle tier of forward is weaker than it looks and full of mines. If you build in the middle, Samuels likely has the best upside.
Joey Hauser, Michigan State ($4,600)
Aaron Henry is the guy that dominates in the frontcourt for the Spartans, but he's super expensive for as inconsistent as he is. Hauser doesn't have a very high ceiling since he is only out there to foul and rebound, but we saw him have one of his better games of the season against Maryland a couple of weeks ago. If you find yourself in a position where the Villanova guards aren't enough value, Hauser will help without killing your lineup.
Also consider: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Villanova ($8,500); Isaiah Jackson, Kentucky ($6,800); Olivier Sarr, Kentucky ($5,400); Gabe Osabuohein, West Virginia ($4,100)
