DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 4/20/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The EuroLeague playoffs begin tomorrow. This is a best-of-five format with games 1 and 2 of each series happening throughout this week. We have the more exciting split on Tuesday and Thursday with the 4-5 and 3-6 matchups on those days. Both Istanbul teams landed themselves in the playoffs. Milan finds itself in the playoffs for the first time since 2014.

Real Madrid kind of limps into the playoffs. Facundo Campazzo was drafted and went to the NBA when their season began in December. They lost Gabriel Deck when he was summoned by the Thunder after the Real Madrid regular season ended. How much does Real Madrid have left for the series against Efes? At least they will have Sergio Llull back. Can he help turn around a team that went 5-6 in the second half of the season?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/20/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Vasilije Micic, Efes ($10,600)

Efes has been locked into the three slot for some time now, so they have played their starters about 5-8 minutes less than they normally would. Did this strategy pay off, or are they going to come out rusty? I'll bet on the fresh legs of Efes against a Real Madrid team that is short on guard depth. Micic put up pedestrian numbers against Real Madrid at the end of March, but he was much better in the first meeting when Istanbul didn't blow them out. This could be the series that's most likely to be a sweep, but Efes wont start resting guys unless they get way ahead. That may happen, but trying to predict blowouts for DFS purposes is often a fool's errand. Micic has the most raw potential at guard on this slate.

Wade Baldwin, Munich ($9,800)

Milan holds the tiebreaker by beating Munich twice this year (once by 24 points), so they get home court advantage. After a rough start to the year, Baldwin has heated up over the last couple of months. It was around the time that Milan beat them for the second time in that embarrassing 24-point loss that Baldwin started to turn it around. Baldwin is averaging just over 31 DraftKings points per round since that loss to Milan back in Round 21. That's enough reason to run him here. Munich is going to need Baldwin if they want to snipe a game in Milan, who was 7-2 at home in the second half.

Nick Laprovittola, Real Madrid ($7,400)

Laprovittola finished off the regular season in style with by far his best game of the season. Carlos Alocen missed the game with a finger injury, but he will be back for the series against Efes. Still, Real Madrid has struggled to get scoring out of the backcourt. Laprovittola's 18 points was a welcome and much-needed contribution. That should lead to him picking up a start here, or at least playing half the game. Real Madrid is going to need Laprovittola's production and the price is still decent enough to consider.

Also consider: Shane Larkin, Efes ($10,000); Kevin Punter, Milan ($8,700); Nick Weiler-Babb, Munich ($6,800); Carlos Alocen, Real Madrid ($5,200)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Vladimir Lucic, Munich ($9,600)

Milan shut down Lucic both times earlier this year, but that was before Munich really hit their stride. Lucic has played at least 30 minutes and put up at least 20 DraftKings points in every game since that last beatdown at the hands of Milan 13 rounds ago. This is a different Munich team right now, but a large portion of the offense goes through Baldwin and Lucic. Milan is content to spread it around. That gives Munich a couple of nice plays and Milan a bunch of guys that will produce about the same thing. I'm not predicting a Munich win, I just know where their production is coming from. Jalen Reynolds is worth a look too, but he is almost as much as Lucic and far less consistent.

Usman Garuba, Real Madrid ($7,000)

With Deck departing for the NBA, I'm turning to the next Real Madrid lottery pick, possibly as this summer. The club still isn't leaning heavily on Garuba, but now they may not have much of a choice. He has played well when given the chance. Trey Thompkins is the safer alternative to Deck, but he has little upside to speak of. Garuba is the kind of guy that can go over 30 DraftKings points. There is no one else around this price than can possibly do that.

Vladimir Micov, Milan ($6,100)

This season was a big disappointment for Micov after the numbers he posted last year. However, he finished the season strong with 43.25 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. A Micov that is playing like he did last year is a huge boost for Milan. He seems to have played well enough to earn more minutes in the playoffs, but the fact that he only played four minutes in a game against Baskonia just four rounds ago is a bit concerning. Still, the price is low enough that Micov is worth a look in GPP formats.

Also consider: Walter Tavares, Real Madrid ($10,300); Zach Leday, Milan ($8,000); Sertac Sanli, Efes ($6,900); Fabien Causeur, Real Madrid ($5,900)
