Happy Friday RotoBallers! As usual, we have a jam-packed Friday night slate, filled with some juicy matchups. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, with larger slates like this one, you don't have to worry about ownership getting steamed up too hard usually, so consider these suggestions GPP viable as well (some exceptions may apply).
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/4/22. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.
As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia), to keep up to date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG, OKC vs MIN ($10,300 DK, $10,200 FD)
Gilgeous-Alexander has been a scoring machine since returning from injury after the All-Star break. Scoring 29+ in all four games in that span, SGA projects to have both a high floor and ceiling in this game environment with a 230.5 over/under line.
Cameron Payne - PG, PHX vs NYK ($4,800 DK, $5,000 FD)
Payne returned after an almost two month absence on Wednesday against Portland and posted 25 DK points in 20 minutes of play. Given the fact the Suns won by 30, and the game was never particularly close, the coaching staff limited Payne to only 20 minutes. With both of the Suns' All-Star guards unavailable for this game, I like the chances that Payne is unleashed for a full workload tonight.
Malachi Flynn - PG, TOR vs ORL ($3,900 DK)
As of the time of writing, it seems we're headed for another night without Fred VanVleet. Combine that with an OG Anunoby injury and the fact that Flynn is obviously mispriced, he makes for an easy value play this evening.
Others to consider: Trae Young ($10,200 DK, $9,100 FD), Kevin Porter Jr. ($6,000 DK, $5,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C, MIL @ CHI ($12,300 DK, $11,300 FD)
I don't need to sell you on playing Giannis, the dude is a 2X MVP and the reigning Finals MVP. Keeping it simple: Giannis is my favorite play on the slate tonight. Bucks/Bulls has an absurd over/under of 240, and if you think this game will boast that much offense, Giannis figures to be the easiest play at the top end.
Brandon Ingram - SG/SF, NO @ UTA ($8,300 DK, $10,700 FD)
Ingram has been playing exceptionally well as of late, and when you take a look at his fantasy output, I think it's fair to say Ingram is suffering from success. The Pelicans have won all three of their games post-All-Star break by 15+ points, leading to Ingram not particularly being needed late in games. Currently, the Pelicans are listed as 4 point home underdogs against the Jazz, and I think this game projects to be close.
Jae Crowder - SF/PF, SAS @ ATL ($5,300 DK, $5,500 FD)
Running it back with Crowder again this week, after he has continued to produce consistently. Crowder had 38 DK points in only 25 minutes in the Suns' destruction of the Trailblazers on Wednesday, fueled by 5 steals. I think Crowder and teammate Cameron Johnson are both functionally similar tonight, but with the $500 in savings, I give the edge to Crowder.
Others to consider: Kyle Kuzma ($9,400 DK, $9,000 FD), Taurean Prince ($3,500 DK, $4,000 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN @ OKC ($10,100 DK, $9,300 FD)
The Timeberwolves find themselves without Anthony Edwards tonight, and this could very well be a KAT eruption spot. The Thunder are 22nd in fantasy points allowed to Centers, and looking at the matchup more in-depth; the Thunder figure to start Isaiah Roby at center again tonight. Roby is listed at 6'8, while Towns is listed at 7'0 even. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that is not a fair fight for Roby.
Isaiah Roby - C, OKC vs MIN ($4,600 DK, $6,500 FD)
Look, just because I don't think he can cover Karl-Anthony Towns, doesn't mean I don't think Roby can't be a great play tonight. Roby just exploded for 52 DK points against the reigning MVP on Wednesday night, and while we shouldn't expect a performance of that magnitude again, Roby has shown the massive ceiling that comes with his current role. He will likely be pretty chalky, but he has the makings of a great value play top to bottom.
Others to consider: Nikola Jokic ($12,600 DK, $11,000 FD) Precious Achiuwa ($4200 DK, $5,400 FD)
