Expect Big Performances from Brian Hoyer and DeAndre Hopkins vs Titans

The Houston Texans look to get back on track this week with a home game against the Tennessee Titans.  The Texans were embarrassed last week against a Miami Dolphins team that couldn't be stopped on offense.  Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was able to throw all over the Texans defense, compiling 282 yards passing and four touchdowns in the game.  The Dolphins won the game 44-26.

The Texans were down by so much last week that quarterback  Brian Hoyer was forced to throw a lot, and eventually put up 273 yards and three touchdowns.  Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had his worst game of the season however, catching six balls for just 50 yards and zero touchdowns.  Facing the Tennessee Titans this week, expect to see a different Houston Texans team.

Although the Titans have intercepted four passes in their last two games, I see a defense that has holes in the secondary.  Last week against the Titans, Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was able to catch nine passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.  Jones also had a controversial touchdown catch that ended up being ruled not a touchdown, otherwise his day could have been even more impressive.  Hopkins brings the same kind of talent to the table as Jones, so I fully expect him to do some damage against the Titans.

Another reason Hopkins will have a big game is due in part to running back Arian Foster tearing his achilles tendon last week. Foster has been ruled out for the rest of the season, with Alfred Blue expected to take over the starting role.  While Blue isn't bad, I expect the Texans to rely more on the passing game, which means bigger number for Hoyer and Hopkins.  If you own Hoyer or Hopkins or play DFS, these two guys are must-starts this week.  Hoyer has been one of the most underrated quarterbacks in fantasy this season and Hopkins is the number one wide receiver in the league, despite struggling last week.  I expect Hoyer and Hopkins to combine for at least 45 fantasy points today.
