We have an eight-game slate to break down giving us plenty of options to look at tonight, and we are starting to get a few games into the season, so we should be able to start looking at some more stats soon. Personally, I like Corsi For, which is an advanced shot metric shot which can help identify offensive opportunity.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/29/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Steven Stamkos - C, TB vs BUF (FD - $7,500, DK - $6,200)
Stamkos and the Lightning are up against the Sabres who are super hot and have won 10 games in a row, so be ready for some fireworks here. Still seems a bit too cheap on DraftKings tonight and comes in with no points in his last three games, but he is due for some positive regression based on the fact he is taking nearly three shots per game. Also up on the top power-play unit, giving him a nice ceiling of points to reach for.
Cam Atkinson - W, CLS vs MIN (FD - $7,200, DK - $7,200)
Atkinson has an eight-game point streak in the works right now but will face a tough test against the Minnesota Wild to keep it going tonight. The Wild are only giving up a 55 Coris Against this season, which is in the bottom half in the league, meaning they limit the shot attempts from opposing teams. This naturally puts Atkinson in a tough spot, making him a GPP option only tonight. On an eight-game slate, there are far better spots to attack in cash games.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Colin Miller - D, VGK @ VAN (FD - $4,400, DK - $4,400)
The Golden Knights come in with an implied goal total sitting at 3.4 tonight since they are on the road against the Canucks, a team who has been struggling on defense this season. Miller is very reasonably priced, as always, and is still up on the top power-play unit. Love him in all formats tonight and should be a bit of a core play given his price and matchup.
Oscar Klefbom - D, EDM vs LA (FD - $4,900, DK - $5,500)
Klefbom is taking over three shots per game and blocking over one shot per game, giving him a solid floor of points, making him a cash game option on this slate. If you want to roster him in GPPs, that should also work since he is up on the Oilers' top power-play unit, which gets you some cheap exposure to Connor McDavid, something that has always shown to be beneficial in NHL DFS.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Connor Hellebuyck - G, WPG vs CHI (FD - $8,300, DK - $8,400)
Hellebuyck should be one of the popular cash game goalies on this slate since he comes in as a massive -214 favorite at home against the Blackhawks. We've seen Hellebuyck be a bit shaky in recent games, but this Chicago team doesn't pose too much of a threat offensively, so a perfect time for him to get back on track and pick up an easier win at home.
