We are finally here. The NHL Playoffs are here and the quest for Lord Stanley's Cup is upon us and we have two games on the second day to keep things going. Smaller slates mean fewer options at each position, but a chance to take a stand on your favorite plays.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/30/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Nathan MacKinnon - C, COL vs SJ (FD - $9,100, DK - $7,100)
MacKinnon has scored at least one point in each of his last six games this postseason and is showing to be one of the most consistent options on the slate. Game 1 of round one against the Flames was the only game MacKinnon hasn't recorded a point, but with this level of consistency, we have seen his price jump back up on FanDuel. If we have limited options on the slate and a difficult time finding value, it actually makes me want to play him more.
Oliver Bjorkstrand - W, CBJ vs BOS (FD - $4,800, DK - $4,100)
Bjorkstrand is on the third forward line and the second power-play unit, making a stacking option tonight. He had a much stronger first series versus the Lightning compared to the first two games against the Bruins but should be set to turn things around back at home. The third forward line for the Blue Jackets with Alexander Wennberg and Alexandre Texier make a great stack tonight.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Tyson Barrie - D, SJ @ COL (FD - $6,700, DK - $5,700)
Barrie has been legit good for the Avalanche and has two three-point games in his last three games. Amazing production from the defender, but should come as no surprise since the Avs are scoring plenty of goals lately. As mentioned above, the MacKinnon play tonight is interesting and the Colorado first power-play stack is almost too expensive tonight, but if no one wants to play them, you should.
Matt Grzelcyk - D, BOS @ CBJ (FD - $4,300, DK - $3,600)
Grzelcyk has 11 shots, four blocked shots, and two points over his last five games. Secondary production seems to be leading the way for the Bruins in this playoff run and with Grzelcyk being on the second power-play line, he will have opportunity to continue that.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Sergei Bobrovsky - G, CBJ vs BOS (FD - $8,100, DK - $7,900)
Bobrovsky has 29 saves or more in four straight games and is looking to continue that at home as the Blue Jackets have their first ever second round playoff game. Yes, in the 20 years or so Columbus has been home to an NHL team, they've never been in the second round, so the energy will there for them to come away with the win.
