After a wild 11-game slate on Monday, the NBA settles down with three games on deck for Tuesday evening. All eyes will be on the GSW/BKN matchup, as former teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will battle it out in what is sure to be a fiery matchup. While a three-game slate makes finding value a bit interesting, there is certainly a plethora of ways to stand out among the crowd and win some money. Before getting into my favorite plays for Tuesday's slate, let's take a deeper look at the matchups.
- GSW @ BKN - O/U 221.5
- PHI @ UTA - O/U - 215.5
- SAS @ LAC - O/U - 220
As you can see, each of the three games have an O/U greater than 215, which is a good sign as far as offensive production is concerned. With GSW/BKN sure to be fast-paced and high scoring, I love building my lineups around the stars from this contest. Curry, Durant, and James Harden serve as excellent options that I don't mind paying up for. The only downside is that this trio will likely be trotted out in 70%+ of contests, making it ever so important to place some contrarian plays around them. The SAS/LAC game has the second highest O/U as both squads rank inside the top-7 in PACE this season. With guys such as Derrick White, Nicolas Batum, and Luke Kennard likely to see low ownership, they serve as great plays with safer floors. The PHI/UTA matchup is the most intriguing from a fantasy perspective. Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle have been ruled out, which will certainly open up some value elsewhere. Continue reading to see who should see the biggest increase in their absences. It may come as a surprise!

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Stephen Curry, PG - @ BKN ($10,800)
Curry is always a good option, but he'll likely play with some extra pizzazz against his former teammate Kevin Durant. While the Nets have been tough against guards this season, Steph is a different breed. He's averaging just under 50 FD points per game and is 100% matchup proof. A national TV game and a narrative with Durant -- you do the math. Curry is a great option to build around on Tuesday.
Devin Vassell, SG - @ LAC ($5,700)
The second-year wing has played phenomenally as of late, putting up just under 30 FD points over his last seven games. The Clippers have surrendered the eighth-most FD points to guards this season and Vassell should get a ton of run with Derrick White struggling. He presents a safe floor but also has immense upside in what should be a fast-paced matchup.
Jordan Clarkson, SG - vs. PHI ($5,300)
Clarkson put up his second-best scoring game of the season in Saturday's loss to the Heat and will look to keep cooking against the short handed Sixers on Tuesday. This actually has the feels of a value play as many may forget about Clarkson with all of the big names suiting up, so trot him out in hopes for a blow up game.
Patty Mills, SG - vs. GS ($4,000)
Mills is coming off of his best game of the season and should see some increased run with Joe Harris ruled out with an ankle injury. He's averaging 16 points and three three-pointers Per 36 minutes without Harris on the floor this season and the Nets will need his shooting in an up-tempo matchup against the Warriors.
Seth Curry, SG - @ UTA ($5,700)
Curry has played heavy minutes this season and that didn't change upon his return from a one-game absence. He should be in line for even more playing time Tuesday with Danny Green ruled out with a hamstring issue. He's averaging 18.7 points and just under 24 FD points in three games without Green in the lineup this season.
Also consider: Bruce Brown ($4,700), Gary Payton II ($4,700), Shake Milton ($5,100), Derrick White ($5,200)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Kevin Durant, SF - vs. GS ($10,600)
Ah! Can you smell the revenge game? Not only will Durant be squaring off against his former team, but it's also an excellent matchup as the Warriors give up the 10th-most FD points to opposing forwards this season. There isn't anyone on the planet who can stop him, and that should be prevalent on Tuesday. Even while his ownership is likely to be oversaturated, I'm building my lineup around Durant confidently. You should too.
Andrew Wiggins, SF - @ BKN ($6,600)
Is anyone going to mention how well Wiggins has been playing lately? He's averaging just under 40 FD points over his last three games, while sitting on 26/5.6/1.3/1.3 averages. He's in a great spot to stay in rhythm against the Nets, who have been just middle of the pack against opposing forwards this season. His recent play has led to his price tag increasing a bit, but I'm still finding a way to get him into my lineups.
Thaddeus Young, PF - @ LAC ($5,900)
Young has been fantastic without Jakab Poeltl in the lineup over the last five games, putting up at least 28 FD points in four of those games. He's set to see increased run once again with Poeltl ruled out Tuesday, making him a value with a relatively high floor. He's an all-around safe option with upside and serves as a great salary saver in a lighter slate.
Georges Niang, SF/PF - @ UTA ($4,900)
Are you ready for Niang's numbers without Danny Green in the lineup? In three games, he's posted 14.7 points and three three's in just under 30 minutes per game. As previously mentioned, Green and Thybulle will miss Tuesday's game and while Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton should see increased roles, we can't forget about how well Niang has played recently. In a light slate, he's the kind of high-floor value that you want on your roster.
Furkan Korkmaz, SG - @ UTA ($5,200)
Korkmaz is averaging 18 points, 5.5 rebounds, and four three-pointers in two games without Danny Green and the Sixers will be without him and Matisse Thybulle for Tuesday's game. He's locked into 30 minutes if the game is competitive and should be an excellent value priced in the low $5k range. He's a no brainer on Tuesday.
Also consider: Nicolas Batum ($6,000), Luke Kennard ($4,900), Jonathan Kuminga ($4,200)
FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Rudy Gobert, C - vs. PHI ($8,300)
The center position is extremely top heavy on Tuesday with Gobert and Andre Drummond serving as the top options, as Joel Embiid is set to miss another game. With that said, I don't mind finding a way to get Gobert into my lineups against an Embiid-less Sixers' squad. He's averaged just under 41 FD points per game this season and should be ready to go after two days of rest.
Ivica Zubac, C - vs. SAS ($5,600)
While the Spurs have been stout against centers this year, they will once again be without Jakob Poeltl as he continues to work his way back into playing shape. As a result, Zubac should see plenty of Thaddeus Young and Drew Eubanks on Tuesday, which is great news for his fantasy value. As mentioned above, the center position is very shallow in this slate, making affordable guys like Zubac a great option.
LaMarcus Aldridge, C - vs. GS ($5,600)
Aldridge has been quietly producing over the last week, putting up at least 32 FD points in three of his last four games. With the center position extremely top heavy on Tuesday, it's more than likely that the masses will cling to guys like Andre Drummond and Rudy Gobert, which is understandable. This opens the door for LMA to be a terrific value in a pace up game against the Warriors. Plug him in at center in order to spend up at other positions.
Also consider: Drew Eubanks ($5,300), Hassan Whiteside ($4,500)
