FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/30/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

There are only four games in the Association tonight, but there are a bunch of stars to try and cram into our lineups. Westbrook broke the slate last night. What will he do for an encore against Charlotte? The Clippers are also on the last part of a back-to-back, and they love to rest players. I'll put the chances of Kawhi Leonard playing somewhere south of 50%.

Vegas seems to be expecting some shenanigans as the implied total in the Orlando-Clippers game is the lowest on the slate at 218.5. Charlotte and Washington is the highest total (233.5) with the lowest spread (Charlotte -1.5). If you prefer to game stack on smaller slates, that's where you want to go. There's plenty of icing on this cake too. We'll get to that. Let's get on our way!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/30/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook, PG – vs. Charlotte ($11,000)

I'm not even sure if the status of Bradley Beal matters at all. Hip injuries are tricky, and he's already missed two games because of it. Washington has no real reason to rush him back. Russ did just fine last night without him. Westbrook went nuts on the Pacers for 88.3 FanDuel points. The 35 points is impressive, yes, but the 21 assists and 14 rebounds were more so. You can love or hate Westbrook, but no one outworks this guy. It's nice to see this kind of hustle in a league that lacks it most nights. Russ isn't going for 80 again, but 60 is a very real possibility whether Beal plays or not.

Chris Paul, PG – vs. Atlanta ($7,600)

Paul had one of those games on Sunday where we just sit back and scratch our heads. One assist? One? In 38 minutes? If you watch game logs, that's the exception and not the rule, and truth be told, it's not all his fault. Paul should have no problems getting back on track against the Hawks. The Hawks are exciting and all, but they still don't play good defense. This looks like a prime spot for a big game from Paul, assuming his teammates can make the shots he sets them up with.

Dwayne Bacon, SG – at Clippers ($6,000)

I like this matchup at lot more for Bacon if Paul George is out again, but this is another situation where it may not matter. There's a scoring vacuum to be filled on Orlando after the trade deadline fire sale, and Bacon is doing his best to fill it. Bacon has 43 real points over the last two games and is corraling his share of rebounds as well. Bacon has never had a solid floor before, but on this shell of a team, he finally has one. I just don't know if it's the 30's he's been putting up or if it's more like mid-20's.

Also consider: Devin Booker ($8,300), Terry Rozier ($7,500), Devonte' Graham ($5,300), R.J. Hampton ($4,000)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris, PF – at Denver ($8,600)

As was the case last year when Joel Embiid went down, Tobias Harris is plenty capable of carrying this team. In the seven games since Embiid went down, Harris has only been under 40 FanDuel points once and it was just barely (38.7) and it was against the Lakers. This isn't a cake matchup by any means, but Harris is the main offensive threat and the only interior presence that Philly has right now. He's going to continue to put up strong numbers no matter who they play against.

Chuma Okeke, PF – at Clippers ($5,300)

Okeke is the primary benefactor of the flurry of deadline deals for the Magic. He now is guaranteed around 30 minutes per game and he has responded with 36 real points over the last two games. the Magic are looking towards the future and Okeke is clearly a big part of it. They're going to let him learn and grow for the rest of the season when this team has no pressure since most fans quit paying attention when they moved fan-favorite Nikola Vucevic to the Bulls. Okeke could become the new fan favorite. He'll continue to be my favorite on FanDuel if they leave his price this low.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SF – at Phoenix ($4,200)

The Hawks didn't pay Bogdan that much money for him to sit around and watch. The Hawks are mostly healthy now and Bogdan is still playing right around 28 minutes in most games. The issue is what it has always been with Bogdan: consistency. It serves to keep his price low, but if you get him on one of his off nights, he'll anchor your lineup to the bottom by himself. I have a feeling the Atlanta guards are going to have issues in this game. Bogdan off the bench could be a nice boost for the Hawks tonight.

Also consider: Michael Porter Jr. ($6,500), Rui Hachimura ($5,700), P.J. Washington ($5,600), Jae Crowder ($5,000)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic – vs. Philadelphia ($11,300)

There's no Embiid to get in the way, not that he's a huge deterrent to a guy like Jokic anyway. Jokic has become one of the elite players in the league because he is good at everything. Literally everything he's asked to do on a basketball court, he's good at. Which makes him an absolute monster at DFS. The only thing that has been able to hold Jokic back lately is his team winning by large margins. Otherwise, his floor is 50. I would say that Jokic doesn't have the ceiling of Westbrook, but it will be close if Philly is able to stay close.

Clint Capela – at Phoenix ($8,500)

Is it me or does it look like Deandre Ayton has regressed this year, particularly on the defensive end? We have seen a few centers put up big numbers against Ayton this year. Surprsingly, Capela has only faced Ayton once when he was a member of the Rockets in 2019. Capela had a double-double, but just barely. The fact is that Capela is a much different, and better, player than he was with the Rockets. The Suns are going to have big problems with Capela tonight.

Dwight Howard – at Denver ($5,100)

You know how I feel about punting center on FanDuel, especially when we have Jokic on the slate. Dwight Howard was supposed to have minutes falling from heaven there for the taking when Embiid went down. Instead, the resident jackass managed to get thrown out of both games in Los Angeles, playing a combined total of 24 minutes against the Lakers and Clippers. Howard isn't doing anyone any good if he can't control his temper. He shouldn't have anything against the Nuggets, but with Howard, who knows. He's a PPM God when he can keep his ass on the court. Those instances have been few and far between lately, but there is still a lot of potential here at this price.

Also consider: Deandre Ayton ($7,000), Ivica Zubac ($6,200), Mo Bamba ($5,000)
