FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (6/20/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Happy Father's Day. We have two games on the schedule to close out the weekend. The slate begins with Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, with the Clippers heading to Phoenix to take on the Suns. Both teams will undoubtedly be impacted by the losses of Kawhi Leonard, who is out with an ACL injury in his right knee, and Chris Paul, who won't play because of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

In the second game, the Hawks and Sixers will battle in a pivotal Game 7 clash. Both clubs are looking to stamp a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals to meet the Bucks, with Milwaukee recently dispatching the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night in a 115-111 overtime victory.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/20/21. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @DennisMClausen and say hello.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young, PG - @ PHI ($10,300)

Young is once against listed on the official injury report with right shoulder soreness. However, despite the designation, he hasn't missed a game yet in this series, so it would be hard to imagine him sitting for Game 7.

The 22-year-old has been heavily involved on the offensive end, even more so recently, by putting up nearly 80 shots throughout the previous three contests. Young has also logged 40 minutes in each of those games during that span as well, so he should be a lock for all DFS lineups in both Cash and GPP formats on Sunday night.

Reggie Jackson, PG - @ PHO ($5,500)

While most will naturally drift toward Cameron Payne as a preferred value option, fantasy managers may gain an edge by rolling with Jackson instead.

With Kawhi Leonard out of the mix, possibly for the remainder of the season, Jackson will serve as the unofficial No. 2 option against Phoenix. Besides Game 1, the veteran played well during the previous series against the Utah Jazz, and he finished by averaging 18 points throughout 31 minutes while shooting nearly 46 percent from deep. He didn't play well against the Suns during the regular season, but with an added increase in usage and +/- differential, the 31-year-old has a chance to make some noise on the fantasy end.

Kevin Huerter, SG - @ PHI ($4,200)

Huerter went nuts in Game 6 on Friday night, finishing with 17 points, 11 boards, a steal, and a block throughout 44 minutes of work. Because of this and his bargain rostering cost, he will likely be a favorite option in GPP formats.

With Bogdan Bogdanovic dealing with a sore knee, there is a chance he may not play on Sunday night. However, if that is the case, the third-year man out of Maryland would likely see a noticeable increase in production.

Also Consider: Cameron Payne ($5,000), Patrick Beverley ($4,000-GPP only), Paul George ($10,600), Devin Booker ($7,900), Terance Mann ($4,400), Furkan Korkmaz ($4,300), Torrey Craig ($3,800-GPP only)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Mikal Bridges, SF - vs. LAC ($5,500)

Bridges will need to step it up on Sunday if the Suns want to have a shot to take Game 1 from the Clippers. Without Chris Paul, who may miss a game or two moving ahead, the 24-year-old could have a legit chance at smashing his value.

He averaged 16 points during the four-game sweep of the Nuggets and should benefit by gaining a bump in +/- differential on Sunday evening. At only $5,500, his rostering cost could give fantasy managers plenty of flexibility to add some of the higher-priced options into their lineups.

Danilo Gallinari, SF - @ PHI ($5,500)

While Gallinari is hit-or-miss when it comes to his statistical output, he has a chance to make an impact if Bogdan Bogdanovic doesn't play. However, even if Bogdanovic does suit up, he will undoubtedly be limited in some way, whether it be in playing time or production.

As a result, Gallinari could see the floor more in Game 7 than he has in previous matchups in this series, and he may also get a few more looks on the offensive end. In only 23 minutes on Friday night, he scored 16 points, shooting 5-for-10 from the field while going 50 percent from downtown.

Jae Crowder, PF - vs. LAC ($5,000)

While Crowder has made a name for himself over the years because of his defensive prowess, the veteran can get hot on the offensive end when needed.

He had three double-digit scoring performances against Denver, and without Chris Paul, he may have a few more shots at his disposal. Crowder would only need 25 fantasy points to hit value, and it's reasonable to believe he could produce beyond that mark with no issues at all.

Also Consider: Cameron Johnson ($3,800-GPP only), Tobias Harris ($7,200), Nicolas Batum ($6,200)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid, C - vs. PHO ($11,200)

Embiid's field goal percentage has dropped during this series against Atlanta, but it's logical to assume that his nagging knee ailment may have something to do with that.

He shot 20 percent from the field in Game 4 and will be entering Game 7 fresh off a 37.5 percent shooting effort on Friday night. However, the big man vowed to play better, and with the Sixers playing at home, he has a much better chance to do just that, primarily since he has fared much better at the Wells Fargo Center during the postseason.

Also Consider: Deandre Ayton ($7,000), Ivica Zubac ($3,900-if starting/GPP only)
