The bubble keeps on rolling! The Celtics took the Raptors down by 22 last night, the Grizzlies had a sizable win over the Thunder, and the Nets won! I really thought when the bubble started that they wouldn't win a game.
Today, we've got five games, and I know y'all are already hyped up for Bucks/Mavericks as the night cap. Lot of fireworks to look forward to in that one!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/8/20. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Paul George, SG - LAC vs. POR ($7,700)
Let's start with a heavy hitter.
George is averaging 26.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in the bubble. His 51.5 percent mark from deep is definitely going to go down at some point, but right now George is playing some really good basketball, and I'm not sure Portland has what it takes to slow him down. On the full season, they've allowed the fifth-most points to opposing teams. They do have the offense to make this a high-scoring, fairly close game though, which benefits the Clippers starters.
Ricky Rubio, PG - PHO vs. MIA ($5,900)
Miami allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to point guards this season gives me pause here, but Rubio's been taking on a pretty big offensive role over the last few games, averaging 14.3 shot attempts per contest in the last three Suns games, after averaging 10.7 attempts in the team's first 58 games.
That, plus Rubio's passing, make him a solid play, even if Miami gives me worry. The Heat will be weakened by Jimmy Butler being out and Goran Dragic being questionable, which likely means he'll be limited if he does play.
Eric Bledsoe, PG - MIL vs. DAL ($5,300)
Bledsoe's the forgotten guy in Milwaukee. After not playing in the first two bubble games, Bledsoe has worked his way back and it hasn't been great, as he's averaging 8.5 points on 30.8 percent shooting in the last two games. But he's still grabbing boards and dishing out assists, and in what should be a barnburner of a game, I'm going to buy low on Bledsoe at $5,300 and hope that the shooting comes back tonight.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo, SF - MIL vs. DAL ($11,000)
Yeah, it's Giannis against a Mavericks team that's allowed at least 110 points in each bubble game, including allowing 153 points to Houston (yes, it went to overtime) and 126 to the Clippers last time out.
Milwaukee should score a lot. Giannis should have a monster night. Let's not overthink this, y'all! Spend up for the Greek Freak, because his upside is so high that you might struggle to have a winning lineup if he's not featured in it.
Kawhi Leonard, SF - LAC vs. POR ($7,700)
Were you, like me, worried we'd see some DNP-Rests show up for Kawhi in the bubble? So far, we haven't, so I think we're safe to play him today. Maybe.
Kawhi is only shooting 43.4 percent in the bubble despite shooting 50 percent from three, but Portland's porous defense should allow plenty of chances of Leonard to work to the basket and score, helping that field goal percentage. And even with some of those struggles, his volume and ability to get to the foul line have him averaging 27 points per contest to go along with his stat-sheet filling 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals.
Marcus Morris, PF - LAC vs. POR ($4,300)
Yes, if Giannis and Kawhi are your forwards, you have to save some money elsewhere. So for one of the other forward spots, consider Marcus Morris!
Morris has played 35 minutes in back-to-back games, scoring 16 points in each of them while averaging 4.5 rebounds. I think you're right to be concerned about a low floor for Morris, who didn't even score in his first bubble game, but the upside is there for him, and at this price, I'll take that upside.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Kelly Olynyk, C - MIA vs. PHO ($4,800)
Finally, we go back to the Miami and Phoenix game for Kelly Olynyk. Phoenix allows the 13th-most FanDuel points to opposing centers, and Olynyk has been on a solid run lately.
In the bubble, the former Celtic is averaging 16.3 points per game, as well as 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Miami needs offense without Jimmy Butler, and Olynyk has proven to be a good source for some of that offense. Butler's set to miss another game, so let's keep rolling with Olynyk for now.
