As many fantasy managers turn their attention toward DFS contests, especially those who didn't make their league's postseason, Week 13 is here to help keep the good times rolling. With COVID-19 causing a handful of issues for many clubs throughout the year, FanDuel's Main Slate appears to be on track to run things as normal.
After some high-scoring affairs took place over the last few weeks, only two games, Indianapolis at Houston and Cleveland at Tennessee, are projected to crack the 50-point mark this weekend. Things may change over the next few days, nonetheless, as some notable names are in danger of not suiting up. As usual, fantasy competitors should monitor practice reports and player availability as we head toward kickoff on Sunday.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 12 daily fantasy football lineup picks on FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 13 Picks
Aaron Rodgers, QB - vs. PHI ($8,500)
Although Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, and Russell Wilson have garnered most of the quarterback attention this season, Rodgers has played at a 2016 level. He currently has 33 touchdowns in 2020 to go along with only four interceptions. He is also sporting a 117.6 quarterback rating and a 68.5 completion percentage.
Davante Adams has also been playing some good football this year, so this duo has the potential to put a hurting on Philadelphia on Sunday. The Eagles Defense isn't bad, but the 37-year-old could be too much to handle, making him an adequate pivot play for those who may be looking past him at other options this weekend.
Kirk Cousins, QB - vs. JAC ($7,300)
In the last four weeks, Cousins ranks second in touchdown tosses, fifth in passing yards, and has a 71.8 completion percentage. He has also produced at least 20.8 fantasy points in four of his last six games.
The signal-caller has an exceptional outlook against a Jaguars Defense that has given up 21.99 fantasy points per game to this position, which is third-worst in the league. In other promising news for Cousins, Adam Thielen is on track to play in Week 13 after being out while on the COVID-19 list.
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 13 Picks
Derrick Henry, RB - @ TEN ($10,000)
Henry has been on a tear this season. He is on pace to potentially take home the rushing title once again and currently leads all running backs with 13 rushing touchdowns.
The Titans will be looking to keep things on track as the league enters the final turn, and with A.J. Brown looking like a no-go on Sunday, Henry may see an uptick in production. His output may be higher if he becomes more involved in catching balls out of the backfield.
Austin Ekeler, RB - vs. NE ($7,000)
Despite a rostering cost of $7,000, Ekeler could exceed his value by far in Week 13. He returned in Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills after spending time on the shelf with a knee injury.
While he went 14-44-0 on the ground, he made up for it by catching 11 of his 16 targets for 85 yards. The Patriots Defense is tough without a doubt, but you can't look past this DFS bargain with upside.
FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 13 Picks
Allen Robinson II, WR - vs. DET ($6,900)
Mitchell Trubisky was back under center in Week 12 against the Packers, but that didn't cause Robinson's fantasy production to decrease. He stepped up despite the Bears taking an ass whooping, finishing with eight catches (13 targets) for 74 yards and two touchdowns.
The veteran has been one of the most consistent fantasy producers during the 2020 campaign and has been targeted less than seven times just once throughout 11 games. Historically, he has also played well against Detroit during his career, compiling 30 catches for 434 yards and four touchdowns across six meetings.
Brandin Cooks, WR - vs. IND ($6,500)
By now, most have heard the news about Will Fuller V, who will sit for the next six games after popping on a PED test. With such a void for the Texans, Cooks should be on tap to see some more looks from Deshaun Watson. Don't forget about Keke Coutee, either.
Corey Davis, WR - vs. CLE ($6,100)
A.J. Brown is in rough shape due to a hip injury and hasn't practiced yet this week. As a result, Davis may be in line to serve as the team's No. 1 option on the receiving end. He has played well this season for the most part and has flown under the fantasy radar despite putting up some impressive numbers.
He has seen 21 targets throughout his last four games and has racked up at least 67 yards three times during that same span. The upside is there, so make sure to keep him in mind against the Browns on Sunday.
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 13 Picks
Darren Waller, TE - @ NYJ ($7,000)
No Travis Kelce or George Kittle on the Main Slate, so we may have to settle. Heading into Week 12, Waller had high expectations from those in the fantasy community; however, he didn't deliver as he hauled in just four receptions for an embarrassing 23 yards against the Atlanta Falcons.
We will see if he can turn it around on Sunday against a horrendous Jets Defense that has given up some big numbers to opposing tight ends. Stay tuned.
