Despite COVID-19 causing chaos around the National Football League, the 2021-22 campaign didn’t disappoint. With the regular season now in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to look forward to the postseason. The Wild Card Round commences on Saturday, beginning with Las Vegas taking the trip to Ohio for a meeting with Cincinnati. These teams squared off back in Week 11, with the Bengals earning a decisive 32-13 win. Up next, an AFC East showdown featuring the Bills against the Patriots to cap the off the night. While both squads battled for postseason positioning throughout the year, this bout is unquestionably the most important.
The weekend continues with the Eagles visiting the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Buccaneers, an organization that has dealt with drama and injuries as of late. That one will be followed by the 49ers taking on the Cowboys in Dallas, and lastly, Ben Roethlisberger may be playing in his final game if the Steelers can’t get by the Chiefs. And to close out the opening round, Monday Night Football is back, as Kyler Murray and the Cardinals will travel to Los Angeles for an NFC West matchup with the Rams.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Wild Card Round DFS Lineup Picks
Patrick Mahomes, QB - vs. PIT ($8,700)
Mahomes had a strong start to the season, but he had a few rough performances halfway. Yet, he got back on track, and after the Chiefs began the year with a 3-4 record, Kansas City finished by winning nine of its remaining 10 contests. The former MVP threw can take some credit for that, especially since he had 12 touchdowns and only one interception during his final five appearances, which included a Week 16 meeting against the Steelers, with Mahomes accumulating 258 yards and three touchdowns while connecting on 23 of his 30 passing attempts.
Joe Burrow, QB - vs. LV ($7,800)
Burrow had his difficulties this year. Still, he was as consistent as it could get during his final two outings against the Ravens and Chiefs, totaling nearly 1,000 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He has some lethal options on the offensive end, and with Joe Mixon expected to keep the Raiders defense on its toes, there should be plenty of room for some productive tosses to Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and even Tyler Boyd.
Also Consider: Dak Prescott ($8,000)
FanDuel Running Backs - Wild Card Round DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Mixon, RB - vs. LV ($8,500)
Mixon is one of the most potent backfield options in the NFL. He has the stats to prove it, too. He had a lot of things going for him this season, and he ended with a career-high 1,205 yards while averaging 16.7 fantasy points per game, good for fourth in the league. He also tied a career-high with 30 carries against Vegas in November, and he made them count by accruing 123 yards and two touchdowns. Without a doubt, Mixon should have a substantial role on Saturday against a Raiders defense that hasn’t fared too well versus opposing running backs.
Leonard Fournette, RB - vs. PHI ($7,300)
Fournette is a “game-time decision,” but don’t believe any of that garbage. He should be out there versus the Eagles. Sure, there’s a chance his touches will be limited. Yet, without Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin, and Ronald Jones II, along with a banged-up Mike Evans, it is imperative that the former Jacksonville Jaguar is in the lineup and be included as much as possible. Everyone saw how essential Fournette was to the Buccaneers offense, especially for Tom Brady, who targeted the veteran at least six times throughout the six games leading up to the hamstring injury. Nevertheless, he's still not guaranteed to play, so make sure you keep an eye on his status leading up to kickoff.
Also Consider: Ezekiel Elliott ($7,700), Elijah Mitchell ($7,400), Sony Michel ($6,700), Darrel Williams ($6,600)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Wild Card Round DFS Lineup Picks
Cooper Kupp, WR - vs. LAR ($10,000)
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Kupp is a -175 favorite to score at least one touchdown, the best odds of the weekend. The wideout, who is just one of five players to be a unanimous choice for the Associated Press’ NFL All-Pro Team, should certainly be a priority for DFS managers during Wild Card Weekend. He played well against every team, but he arguably had his best game of the season against the Cardinals in mid-December by pulling in 13 of his 15 targets for 129 yards and a touchdown.
Tyreek Hill, WR - vs. PIT ($8,000)
For those looking to avoid paying Cooper Kupp’s hefty $10,000 rostering cost, Hill’s services can be gained for $2,000 less, a considerable discount for a player who is arguably just as talented. If you aren’t convinced that the speedster is just as good as Kupp, that’s fine. However, there is no denying that Hill’s upside is nearly as high. The Chiefs are projected to score the most points out of any team on the schedule, so there is a good chance he will be responsible for some of them. Hill is also a -155 favorite to find the end zone, giving him the third-best odds behind Kupp and Joe Mixon.
Also Consider: Deebo Samuel ($8,700), Ja'Marr Chase ($8,200), CeeDee Lamb ($7,300), Tee Higgins ($6,900), Christian Kirk ($6,100)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Wild Card Round DFS Lineup Picks
Dallas Goedert, TE - @ TB ($5,900)
Goedert was targeted 26 times in his last four games of the regular season, hauling in 21 of them for 339 yards and two scores. It’s clear that the 27-year-old has been a pivotal piece of the Eagles’ success, and he will need to be included if Philly has a chance of sneaking past Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. His rostering cost is very reasonable, especially for a guy who can do a lot of damage on the fantasy end.
Also Consider: Travis Kelce ($7,500), Rob Gronkowski ($7,400), Zach Ertz ($5,800)
