We have a 9-game slate Thursday, with lots of day baseball, which means you'll need to be quick on the pick-ups. Luckily, there are quite a few streamable players, with 18 teams taking the field. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Hitter Streamers for 9/16 - Shallow Leagues
Garrett Hampson (2B/SS/OF, COL) - 33% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Ian Anderson
There are a couple of factors working in our favor with Hampson. For one, Ian Anderson has not been erratic at times, and command struggles have led to HRs and walks. Also, Hampson is swinging a white-hot stick (6-for14 with two HRs). And if you know anything about Hampson, he has blistering fast speed that allows him to swipe a base(17 SB on the season). He's got many tools to help out today, with a pitcher that can implode; watch the weather as rain could be present in Atlanta.
Patrick Wisdom (1B/3B/OF, CHC) - 35% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Adonis Medina
Never in my life did I think I'd be suggesting Patrick Wisdom against Adonis Medina, but here we are. While Medina is an unknown due to a lack of playing time, there is one aspect to Wisdom that keeps us coming back-the dingers! Wisdom has 26 on the season and parked another 2-run shot over the fences on Tuesday night. He's shown an all-or-nothing approach that can get us an HR if he connects with one. It should help that he's facing a lesser pitching opponent.
Josh Harrison (2B/3B/OF, OAK) - 28% rostered
Matchup: @ LHP Daniel Lynch
I am not sure that many know Harrison is on the Athletics now, not the Nationals. The toolsy multi-positional player is not a source of power but will swipe a base if left unattended(9 SBs on the season). He will excel in OBP leagues because of his tiny 13% K-rate and 5.8% walk rate. Also, Oakland has not been shy to bat Harrison atop the lineup with a southpaw on the mound, making him a streamer for runs.
Kyle Farmer (C/1B/2B/3B/SS, CIN) - 47% rostered
Matchup: @ RHP Connor Overton
Due to Farmer's ability to play all over the field, will make his way into the Reds offense and likely bat sixth. That could be an excellent spot to pick up RBIs. He does an excellent job spraying the ball to all areas of the field and could provide a decent bump in BA. However, his power is limited, and there is a meager chance of an HR in PNC Park's large dimensions.
Hitter Streamers for 9/16 - Deeper Leagues
Miguel Cabrera (1B, DET) - 9% rostered
Matchup: @ LHP Dietrich Enns
Cabrera has made a Hall of Fame-Esque career out of punishing southpaws. While the power has virtually been zapped, as his skills erode, one thing remains. Cabrera can still make contact and put the ball in play with the best of him. His .340 wOBA and keep batter's eye could make him useful if you're needed batting average or RBI since Miggy will bat in the three-hole tonight.
Leury Garcia (2B/3B/SS/OF, CWS) - 12% rostered
Matchup: vs. RHP Alex Cobb
Sneaking into the very potent White Sox offense lately has been Garcia because of the injury to Tim Anderson. He's started each of the last six games. In that time frame, Garcia is 5-for-20 with a pair of HRs and .850 OPS. On top of some pop in his bat, Garcia is sneaky quick and swiped six bags in limited playing time. His matchup against Alex Cobb could be helpful because Cobb hasn't pitched since in over a month and could show signs of rust.
Gavi Sheets (1B/OF, CWS) - 1% rostered
Matchup: vs. RHP Alex Cobb
Sheets at only 1% is a streaming dream today. He destroys right-handed pitching to the tune of a .252/.314/.570 with a .884 OPS. That stat line includes 16 extra-base hits (seven doubles and nine HRs) in only 118 plate appearances. As I just mentioned, who knows what we will see from Cobb. Consider Sheets in a perfect spot to go deep and scoop up a few RBI.
Pitcher Streamers for 9/16 - Shallow Leagues
Reynaldo Lopez (SP, CWS) - 31% rostered
Matchup: vs. Los Angeles Angels
In Reynaldo's last appearance, the White Sox let him throw 90 pitches in a very challenging matchup against Oakland. All things considered, he fared pretty well by only allowing one earned run with a 3:2 BB/K ratio through five innings of work. Keep in mind, that was against a much better offense, and LAA will be without Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon. Instead, the Angels offense is full of batters that don't handle MLB pitching very well. In fact, in the last two weeks, the Angels have struck out more than any team and carry a near 29% K-rate. Let's hope the White Sox leave ReyLo in for five innings, and he picks up a playoff win for you.
Pitcher Streamers for 9/16 - Deeper Leagues
Daniel Lynch (SP, KC) - 9% rostered
Matchup: vs. Oakland Athletics
Beggers can't be choosers if you're streaming at this point in the season and this deep of a league. There is a solid chance Lynch is still on your waiver wire because of his recent struggles. However, the main reason for streaming Lynch in a pinch is for his upside potential. Sure, he could serve up a pair of HRs and walk too many to implode, but he also wields two breaking balls that made him a hot prospect coming up. The fastball? Yeah, it's not ready, and if he has to throw too many, it'll be a bad outing. But, we will get a helpful stream if he can stay ahead of the hitters and use his slider to induce whiff outside the zone. Some numbers to back up the slider: 41.1% chase rate and 22.3 SwStr%. Lastly, if Matt Chapman is still hurt and can't crack the lineup, the chances get insurmountably better.
