OwnersBox Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks) vs. NYJ
Wilson has been quiet over the past month, throwing just four touchdowns over his past four games. Look for him to bounce back in a pristine matchup against the New York Jets this weekend. The Jets rank last in the league in pass-defense DVOA and are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. There's some concern this turns into a blowout and the Seahawks run heavily in the second half but keep in mind that the Seattle secondary is rather leaky, as well, which may allow the Jets to keep this one closer than expected.
Also consider: Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens) @CLE
Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers) @DET, vs. CAR, vs. TEN, @CHI
Rodgers has an excellent schedule to finish off the year. Week 14 brings a divisional matchup on the road against the Lions. Detroit's defense has been terrible this season, ranking 29th in pass DVOA and is allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to QBs. For Week 15, the Packers will face off against the Carolina Panthers at home. Carolina's pass defense continues to drop in DVOA rankings, going from 22nd in Week 13 to 26th this week. On the year they are allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position.
Rodgers then draws a weak Tennessee secondary for Week 16. The Titans just gave up four passing touchdowns to Baker Mayfield in Week 13 and are fifth in fantasy points per game allowed to signal-callers. Rodgers then wraps up the regular season with a road game against the Bears. Chicago has been solid against the pass this year but they did cough up four touchdowns to Rodgers back in Week 12.
Also consider: Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans) @JAX, vs. DET, @GB, @HOU
OwnersBox Running Backs
Aaron Jones (Green Bay Packers) @DET
Jones draws the top matchup in the league for running backs in fantasy as he will face the Lions inside at Ford Field. Detroit is allowing the most fantasy points per game to the position and their run defense ranks 28th in DVOA. Jones has the potential to turn in one of his signature multi-touchdown games this weekend.
Also consider: Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers) vs. DEN
Derrick Henry (Tennessee Titans) @JAX, vs. DET, @GB, @HOU
Henry got game-scripted out of his team's Week 13 loss to Cleveland as the Titans fell behind early. Look for him to bounce back in Week 14 as he travels to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. Jacksonville's defense ranks 23rd in DVOA and is allowing the fifth-most points per game in fantasy. After that, Henry draws the aforementioned Detroit Lions at home. Check the Aaron Jones section above to see just how tasty this matchup is for Henry.
Week 16 is a road game against the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is slightly better against the pass than they are against the run and this has the potential to be a run-heavy game as weather could be an issue in Green Bay in late December. Henry wraps up the regular season with a road date against the Texans. Houston's run defense ranks 28th in DVOA and allowed Henry to shred them for 212 rushing yards and two scores back in Week 6.
Also consider: Miles Gaskin (Miami Dolphins) vs. KC, vs. NE, @LV, @BUF
OwnersBox Wide Receivers
Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) @DET
Good or bad fantasy matchup, Adams continues to dominate at the wide receiver position. In Week 14, he gets an excellent matchup against a leaky Detroit pass defense. He was quiet against them back in Week 2 but that was the game where Adams injured his hamstring and only played about half of the offensive snaps. Top Detroit corner Jeff Okudah already missed Wednesday's practice and it appears likely that he will miss another game.
Also consider: DK Metcalf (Seattle Seahawks) vs. NYJ
Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) @DET, vs. CAR, vs. TEN, @CHI
Adams remains the preferred play in long-term contests at OwnersBox. After his matchup against Detroit (see above), he will face the Panthers at home. Carolina has allowed four touchdowns to wide receivers over their past three games as they have increasingly struggled to slow opposing passing attacks as the season wears on.
The Titans await Adams in Week 16. Tennessee's pass defense was shredded by Donovan Peoples-Jones, Jarvis Landry, and Rashard Higgins in Week 13. The Packers finish up against the Chicago Bears. Chicago is allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to WRs but Adams managed 61 receiving yards and a score against them in Week 12.
Also consider: Allen Robinson (Chicago Bears) vs. HOU, @MIN, @JAX, vs. GB
OwnersBox Tight Ends
Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs) @MIA
Kelce continues to thrive, despite playing a relatively tough schedule for tight ends this season. He overcame a difficult matchup against Denver last week, going for eight catches, 136 yards, and a score. He will continue to operate as Kansas City's top receiving threat in Week 14 against the Dolphins.
Also consider: Robert Tonyan (Green Bay Packers) @DET
Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) @CLE, vs. JAX, vs. NYG, @CIN
Andrews is expected to play this week after missing two games while on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He will return to a friendly matchup against a Browns team that he has ripped for five receiving touchdowns over their previous three meetings. In Week 15, Andrews will then take on a Jacksonville defense that is allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the tight end position.
His toughest matchup in this stretch comes against the Giants in Week 16. New York is allowing the ninth-fewest points per game to tight ends. Still, you have to like Andrews here as Baltimore's top target in the passing game. He caps off the regular season with another excellent matchup, this time against the Chargers. Los Angeles is 11th in fantasy points per game allowed to the position.
