Aaron Gordon Doesn't Start, Scores 19 Points In Loss
7 years agoOrlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon scored just 19 points in a loss to Dallas on Tuesday. Gordon arrived late to the team plane on Monday and was benched for the start of the game. He still played 33 minutes but could never find a rhythm. Gordon finished 6-for-16 from the field and 1-for-7 from three. It's only his eighth game shooting under 40 percent from the floor. Gordon scored 30 points in Orlando's previous game. This looks like more a result of coming off the bench than anything else. The Magic are in a free fall, as they are losers of 25 of their last 29 games, and it's getting harder and harder for the team to find any sort of passion or motivation, according to head coach Frank Vogel. It doesn't get any easier, either. Orlando is back at it Wednesday against Milwaukee.
