Aaron Gordon Records Double-Double Before Ejection

2 years agoWith Nikola Jokic (wrist) on the shelf, Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon did his best to help his team overcome a streaking Phoenix Suns team. Unfortunately, it was not enough, and the Nuggets fell 126-97. Gordon played 30 minutes and posted 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one three-pointer before being ejected with two technical fouls in the third quarter. With the Nuggets extremely short on healthy bodies right now, Gordon should be in line for many opportunities in the Mile High City. He's rostered in 76 percent of Yahoo leagues, but that number should creep up over the next few weeks with all the injuries the Nuggets are dealing with right now.--Euan Leith
