Abraham Ancer Looks To Build Of WGC Success At Valero
3 years agoAbraham Ancer recorded his first top-five finish of the season last week at the WGC Match Play. Ancer had gone without a top-30 finish throughout the 2022 calendar year, so this could be the turning point in the season for Ancer. However, with the finish last week, Ancer is priced inside the top-five this week at the Valero Texas Open, which is interesting since Ancer has had next to no success this season. In his career at Valero, Ancer has made all four of his cuts, but has yet to record a finish inside the top-20. Last season, Ancer had his best finish at the event, 23rd. At the price, Ancer cannot be trusted this week, wait to see more success from him, before spending a big chunk of salary on him.
