Abraham Ancer Struggling So Far In 2022
3 years agoIt has been a tough go for Abraham Ancer so far in the 2022 calendar year. In four events, Ancer has a best finish of T35, which came in an event that had a field of only 39 players. Due to his poor play, Ancer has seen his DFS price take a hit, and rightfully so. However, knowing the skill he has, he could look very appealing at his price, knowing a breakout is possible. However, the breakout for Ancer won't come this week. In four career starts at Riviera, Ancer has a best finish of 43rd in 2020. His only missed cut at the event came last season, when he failed to shoot either round in the 60s. Ancer is losing strokes in most of the major categories, most notably 169th in strokes gained total, and 208th in strokes gained around the green. Although the DFS price is low for a guy of Ancer's talent, he shouldn't be played this week in LA.
