5 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (groin) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners. Mondesi was injured in the first inning of last night's game and left the game a few innings later. The Royals said the exit from the game was precautionary and hopefully the league leader in stolen bases will avoid the Injured List. Nicky Lopez will slide over to shortstop with Whit Merrifield moving over to second vs Mariners left-hander Marco Gonzales--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
