Adam Thielen Explodes For 130 Yards and Two Touchdowns
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen caught 7-of-8 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 5 win over the New York Giants. Thielen was making plays all over the place against the weak Giants secondary and made it look easy on his scores in the first and third quarters. Thielen was critical of the offense following a very quiet Week 4 but bounced back in a huge way, rewarding fantasy managers who stuck with the sixth-year receiver out of Minnesota State-Mankato. Thielen will have an excellent chance to approach this production in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles as they have a similarly vulnerable secondary and the Vikings will likely need to throw. Lock him into lineups as a low-end WR1, though he has top-5 upside and can be used as a tournament option in daily formats.
