Thielen has missed a lot of action since injuring his hamstring in Week 7 and has been disappointing in his last three games played with just six catches and 66 scoreless yards. He's a player to avoid in cash games due to the recent string of inconsistency, but he can be employed as a low-owned tournament dart throw in daily formats. Thielen should avoid cornerback Marshon Lattimore in coverage, meaning P.J. Washington and Janoris Jenkins will be his primary matchups. The Saints Defense has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to receivers this year and rank just 13th in pass DVOA.
