Adam Thielen Is In Low-End WR2 Mix
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen had a muted Week 15 in his return to action and played just over half of the team's offensive snaps, but he's definitely in the mix as a starting option in Week 16. Thielen projects to play close to his usual complement of snaps in a crucial divisional matchup and he has had a lot of success in his career against the Packers Defense. The Packers have given up 158 yards per game to receivers over their last five contests and the Vikings could be passing more with running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) officially out. He's a risky play as this will be just his second game back after a lengthy injury absence, but the favorable matchup and expected high-volume puts Thielen on the low-end WR2 radar with more upside than the other receivers in his range.
