Adbert Alzolay Allows Four Runs In Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay got hurt by the home run ball in Thursday's loss versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Alzolay went five innings and allowed five hits, four runs, one walk and struck out five on the evening. Three of his four runs allowed were off the bat of Brad Miller. Miller hit a solo and two-run home run. Alzolay has cooled down a bit since having a nice start to his season, but managers should remain patient with the youngster. Alzolay finishes the first half with a 4-9 record and 4.66 ERA.
