3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay (blister) left Monday's contest earlier with a blister on his middle finger. Alzolay struggled with his command and velocity Monday evening. The young right-hander allowed five hits, four runs, five walks and four strikeouts in three innings, but the blister is likely a big reason for his struggles this evening. It's good news that it doesn't appear to be long lasting injury. If his blister heals in time, Alzolay would be scheduled to start against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
