Adbert Alzolay Has Strong Debut
5 years agoChicago Cubs pitching prospect Adbert Alzolay was outstanding in his big league debut Thursday night versus the New York Mets. Alzolay was a starter in Triple-A, but came in to pitch four innings of relief. Alzolay only allowed one run on one hit with a pair of walks and five strikeouts. Alzolay opened eyes tonight and there is a chance he can stick on the roster with Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list. Alzolay should be owned in dynasty and NL-only leagues. Owners in mixed leagues would be wise to keep an eye on the prospect.
