4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay suffered a tough loss on Monday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Alzolay cruised through five innings, but would allow the first three batters to reach base in the bottom of the sixth inning. The right-hander was pulled at that point and relief pitcher Andrew Chafin would serve up a three-run triple to Luis Urias. All three of those runs were charged to Alzolay, in what was a strong performance otherwise. The youngster would finish with a line of three hits, three runs, one walk and six strikeouts in five innings. Alzolay has shown some nice flashes during his young career and pitched much better than his line looked. The right-hander has strong potential and should remain owned in 10-team leagues. His next matchup will be against a tough Atlanta Braves offense on Saturday and managers may want to rest him in that contest.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
