4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay struggled in Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals. Alzolay was coming off of an impressive start against the same Cardinals in his first start of the season August 19. The Cubs pitching prospect only lasted 2 2/3 innings and allowed two runs on two hits, five walks and four strikeouts. Alzolay struggled to find the strike zone and that’s what essentially ended his day early. Alzolay still has a shot to remain in the rotation with Jose Quintana (lat) and Tyler Chatwood (elbow) both on the injured list. The prospect is a better option for managers of dynasty leagues versus redraft leagues at the moment.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
