4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay fell victim to a tough loss on Tuesday versus the Cleveland Indians. Alzolay was looking dominant for most of the evening, but his biggest mistake was a two-run home run to second baseman Cesar Hernandez in the bottom of the sixth inning. The home run would give the Indians a 3-2 lead at the time and it would also be the final score. Alzolay picked up quality start with six innings in which he allowed five hits, three runs, zero walks and struck out six on the evening. Alzolay has looked the part in his first extended action in the big leagues and is a high upside pickup in deeper leagues. He will carry a 4.50 ERA into his next matchup against the Washington Nationals on Monday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
