3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman is absent from the starting lineup for Saturday's game against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Chicago White Sox. Robinson Chirinos will be behind the plate and batting seventh in the game. Rutschman has been quietly putting together a nice recent stretch at the plate. Over his last four games, he's compiled four doubles and a home run, recording at least one hit in each game. Over 28 games so far this year, he's slashing .223/.286/.398 with two homers, seven RBI and 13 runs. Expect to see him back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
