6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for a third straight game. Beltre was removed from the game Monday and has not featured again for the Rangers since. Beltre has been diagnosed with a Grade-2 strain, which usually requires close to a month to recover from. However, the fact the Rangers have not placed Beltre on the disabled list suggests that he may try to play through the injury. If that is the case then Beltre is likely to be hampered at the plate and in the lineup inconsistently. Therefore, he is someone that fantasy owners should cut ties with, if they have not already.--Ben Rolfe
