6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is facing another MRI on his left hamstring. If the MRI shows enough damage then Beltre could hit the disabled list for the third time this season. If the hamstring strain is grade two or worse, then Beltre could miss the remainder of the season. Beltre's injury issue alongside his down year throws his long term future into doubt. In 2018, Beltre has just seven home runs and a .278 batting average in 358 plate appearances. At this point it seems safe to say that fantasy owners should drop Beltre, if they have not already, as the turn around in fortunes does not appear to be coming.--Ben Rolfe
