6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers small forward/power forward Al-Farouq Aminu finished with five points on 1-for-7 shooting during Friday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He added eight rebounds, two steals and one assist, but the defensive-minded Aminu posted a team-worst -22 plus-minus in his time on the floor. After a season-high 18-point effort his last time out, this performance was a reminder of Aminu’s overall value, which remains limited to rebounds, making him a better real life option than a fantasy one.--Jesse Borek
