7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu did everything he could to force a Game 5 in the series against the New Orleans Pelicans, but it was not enough as the Blazers were swept in four games. Aminu poured in 27 points on 11-for-20 from the field and knocked down five from deep to go along six rebounds and a couple steals. Aminu was probably the Blazers most consistent payer in the series averaging 17.3 points with 9.0 rebounds on a solid 51.9% shooting from the floor for the duration of the series. Aminu is on the books for one more season and the Blazers can hope he builds on his excellent playoff showing.--Gianni Costantiello
