Al Horford Narrowly Misses Out On Double-Double
6 years agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford logged 17 points and nine rebounds during Sunday’s victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, coming just a board shy of recording a double-double for the second straight contest. With back-up Aron Baynes (foot) on the shelf for the next handful of weeks, Horford could see a slight uptick in usage, even as head coach Brad Stevens attempts to keep the big man fresh for the stretch run. His 28.3 minutes per game averaged this season are on pace to be a career low, but Horford has still proven to be a high-level fantasy commodity due to his ability to contribute across multiple categories.
